Stay SAKURA Kyoto Ryu

Quiet, safe and a great location There was a musty smell, possibly from the washer) that was obvious our whole stay. On the last day it smelled like urine as well.

The property is out of the center of Kyoto but once we familiarized ourselves with the bus routes, we had no trouble getting to/from the hotel. The room was a good size & the kitchenette & washing machine were much appreciated bonuses. It is also close to the Nishi Hongan-Ji Temple. Nothing

Staff were friendly in helping set up the Netflix and new coffee maker, getting us a top sheet because the comforter was too heavy and hot. They let us check our bags for the day.. Long walk to hotel and 2 blocks walk inside to our room and the ice machine. Couldn't access the pool.

The room was large, good seating. laundry to use. bit of a walk to restaurants, and konbini

The staff wasn't very friendly. Also, after they cleaned my room, the floor was dirtier than before!

The apartment was located conveniently for buses and to get around, but was on a side road so was quiet. The beds were very comfortable and it was so helpful to have the small washing machine. Would be great if there were more restaurants nearby but this is not something the hotel has much control of.

The room was really spacious which was great for a slightly longer stay. The beds were huge and there was also a sofa in the room. The room had washing facilities so we were able to wash and dry our laundry during the trip. The room had a small balcony with sliding doors so we were able to get some fresh air into the room which was really nice. The room was quiet and also on a quiet street close to Kyoto station which we appreciated Only minor, but whilst this hotel is close to Kyoto main station it is about a 45 minute walk from the main shopping/tourist/Gion area. There are regular buses between the hotel and other areas so not a huge problem, but a consideration for those less able to walk long distances

The cooking utensils were not complete and I have to buy paper plate. Overall, it's okay

The hotel is good in general, beds are comfortable and staff is very helpful The wifi is so unstable and my son was not able to get online to finish his work. Location is not close to any grocery stores or convenient store

- The location is excellent - it’s in quite area yet not far from the buses to centre - has everything you need for a short 4-5 days / from stove to washing machine - the room was a bit outdated and worn

Toilet facility was bad, the edge of the nozzle was not clean. (It’s not washing)

Location is not at the main street. It is right next to it. Good accessibility and quit place. walking distance are several stores. Customer center of the provider is a good bonus. you can store your luggage there and they bring it to hotel for free. Great service.

The hotel is located about 20 minutes walk from Kyoto Station in a, somewhat, middle of nowhere. However, the room is spacious and we were provided with all the necessary amenities, including a washing machine within the room. The receptionist Gustavo was very friendly and made us feel welcome, after a long trip.

Super nice and clean accommodation with all amenities provided. Our family enjoyed staying here. Thank you for your service None
