Stay SAKURA Kyoto ZEN

Convenient location, easy transportation to main attraction places Have to pick up door key from another sister hotel if you arrive late, though it is just a very short walking distant.

Not close to convenience store, towel rack was broken and unstable.

Little noisy at times from the street. It's fine though.

Provided with free luggage service where they delivered our luggages to our hotel from the Check In Guest Centre near Kyoto Station - which was awesome! Staff were lovely and it was convenient for us to be able to store our luggage with them and have it delivered instead of lugging it there ourselves. Hotel was a lot more spacious than we were expecting. Beds were big and comfortable. Toilet and showers were separate which was good. Shower was big and conditioner and shampoo provided. Washing machine and washing detergent was provided which was nice! Overall very clean and good experience. Quite far from train station and main city. In a bit of a deserted area in comparison to other hotels we had stayed in. But there were buses which would take us close to our hotel so that was convenient. No pyjamas were provided ?

The location of this apartment was perfect. Bus stop outside the door. The neighbourhood is fantastic, a great mix of the very old and new. Incredible Izakayas within a few blocks. Cannot wait to return. There is nothing we did not like.

The room was extremely spacious (Japan standards). Bed was quite big, very comfortable. The bathroom has a bathtub, it's also heated, which is great. Although the rooms are dated, they are very clean and neat. The neighborhood is quiet, feels very safe at night. It is far away from literally everything in Kyoto. No convenient stores nearby either. The check in location is far away from the actual property, didn't really understand why.

It was a bit dusty around the beds so my son had an allergic reaction. We had to clean all the dust in the room the next day.

Close to Kyoto Station, bus stop nearby. There was a washing machine, but no iron… It would also have been helpful to have English descriptions of the washing machine, the heating system in the bathroom and the airconditioning.

Good location There was no warm water running. All of us were sick while visiting, so showering with freezing cold water was big nuisance.

First of all, the staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is great, close to bus stops and amenities. The hotel is very clean and cozy. Soundproofing is not perfect but it was OK for us.

The room had 3 beds so there was not much space to walk around. 2 beds and a small sofa would have been much better considering the size of the room.

So many facilities, washing machine, dryer etc. Location is ok, close to bus stop. Friendly, courteous and helpful staff Carpets are dirty, property looks way dirty than the pictures. Serving plates only 3, 2 of them have cracks. All the furniture looks quite old, not enough cutlery or utensils to boil the milk or for other basic things.

Property was very accommodating. Easy to find, and was able to drop off our luggage before checking in so we can explore around. Sanitized and clean, we loved staying in at Sakura Kyoto Zen. We loved everything about the property and our stay.

Good location, quiet and convenient, clean and comfortable. Good facilities and Value for money. No parking available at the property but there’re private parking spaces around you can use at a fee.

I like everything about the hotel. All you need is inside the room its very convinient! Location is great few bus stop away from most of the tourist spots. None. I like everything about this hotel

Clean, big room, comfy bed, central and silent We had to pay a fee for each person even if it was not shown while booking it on the websites. A previous information would be great or direct payment offer booking.com. In the bill it was shown we payed already the hotel and all additional taxes and fees. So that was an no go. The price is still great but please don’t do that!
