Hotel Corallo is a modern, very clean and well maintained hotel. My room included a very pleasant balcony sitting area. The hotel reservation includes a very good breakfast with scrambled eggs that are not the usual over cooked rubbery fair of some hotels. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable concerning La Spezia and spoke impeccable English. They were a joy to talk to and very helpful. When I return to La Spezia I will definitely stay at Hotel Corallo.

We were awakened by phone calls at 23:00 and 03:15. The shower in the bathroom was the smallest I’ve ever seen or used. I couldn’t turn around in the shower without hitting the water controls.

the beds were way to hard
-
great staff, excellent breakfast, great secure parking terrible flat pillow, A/C did not work, so busy street was loud when window was open there was a mold smell to the bathroom, especially the shower and sink
-
There was a window in the washroom that didn’t feel private enough and you couldn’t cloaked it private. It was those glass cubes but I could tell it looked into a storage closet and while i was drying off from my shower someone went into the storage because the light was on. I don’t think this is appropriate and they should do something to make that pointless window private. There was also a cockroach trap under the bed but I didn’t see any bugs.

A bit far (~30 minutes) walk to La Spezia Centrale. Room is very small for three twin beds. Breakfast area is quite warm during heatwave
-
Very Clean , convenient location, the staff is very nice and helpful.

Mattress was a bit too hard for my liking. Pillows were very flat but not uncomfortable

Hotel Corallo was the perfect base for our visit to La Spezia and Cinque Terre. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to both the marina and the train station, making it incredibly convenient to explore the area. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations with a wide variety of delicious options. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Every single person we encountered was kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We were traveling with a baby, and the level of care and attention we received made all the difference. La Spezia itself is a great place to stay when visiting Cinque Terre. We explored the villages over two days, and even with a train strike on one of them, we were able to enjoy a scenic boat ride that was slower-paced but just as enjoyable. We would absolutely choose to stay at Hotel Corallo again, thanks to the hospitality and warmth of the team, it felt like a home away from home.
