The rooms were clean, f & b staff and front desk staff were helpful. Dog park area wasn’t contained so dogs needed to be on leash but! No doggie bags around!

great location, lots of shops around , great free parking situation, quiet location. love their motif felt like I was staying in Tuscany with how committed they are to their theme in regards to decorations. The rooms are huge and the AC is super cold very nice for hot summer days, their lotion and body wash also smells very good (white tea). Overall a clean and well maintained property Not much

Very practical and helpful location

Clean and convenient property while visiting family in the area. Very good breakfast included each morning with freshly made omelettes, bacon, sausage, potatoes and other continental breakfast items. Room had a tv but no streaming services. King size bed and spacious room. Lots of staff visible cleaning throughout the day so the property is well cared for. Slightly outdated decor but everything else outweighed that.

I will definitely be coming back, so I highly recommend this hotel, especially for families.

The staff was very helpful. The room was large. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

Overall the hotel was great! The staff were excellent! The breakfast was also great! My only complaint was the room. It was very dated. It smelled very musty when we entered the room and that never improved. My grandson has asthma issues and ended up with a respiratory infection when we returned from our trip. I wouldn’t be surprised if the rooms had mold in them as well. I do hope the hotel takes this under consideration and do some remodeling so future guests don’t have to deal with issues like this. I beg this of you! It could have been a very serious respiratory issue.

I had a very pleasant stay at Ayres Hotel Laguna Woods - Aliso Viejo. The room was very spacious, bright and comfortable, with large windows and plenty of natural light. Parking was easy and there were plenty of spaces available, which was very convenient. I also appreciated that parking was included in the room rate. The hotel itself feels spacious, with wide corridors and plenty of room throughout the property. Another big plus was the laundry facility. Having a washing machine and dryer available on-site was extremely helpful during my stay. The location also worked well for me, especially when travelling by car, as it was easy to get around and reach nearby places. The breakfast was quite basic and typical for an American hotel. If you are used to larger European-style hotel breakfasts with a wider selection, the options here may feel rather limited. I also had an issue during check-out when requesting an invoice. At first, the staff insisted that they could not provide the document, but after some discussion, they eventually issued it. I have booked hotels through Booking.com many times in different countries and have not had this kind of difficulty before. I have also clarified this topic with Booking.com on previous occasions, so I knew which document I was requesting. In the end, I received the invoice I needed, but it was surprising that I had to insist on it. I think the process could have been handled more smoothly, especially when a guest clearly explains which document they require. Apart from these points, I had a good experience and found the hotel comfortable and practical.

Staff couldn’t be nicer

Breakfast was great and so convenient.

This is a lovely hotel. The room was good and spacious, very clean and beds/pillows etc were very comfortable. The aircon worked well, the room was quiet and had a microwave, fridge and coffee machine. There were plenty of towels etc and the complimentary toiletries have a lovely smell. There was a lovely outside space for eating breakfast. My niece and nephew loved the pool and the hot tub. It is in a quiet area and there is a supermarket and some fast food restaurants and an Indian restaurant a couple of mins walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was also an unexpected 'happy hour' several of the evenings, with complimentary snacks and drinks. We really enjoyed our stay. There wasn't a safe in the room. And there were no plant milk/yogurt options for breakfast, but I was able to get what I needed across the road in the supermarket.
