Hilton Garden Inn Irvine Spectrum Lake Forest

We did try to get the issue addressed during our stay. Unfortunately, when we went downstairs Saturday night, we were unable to get anyone to assist us. Later, when we returned to our room, we saw a housekeeping employee outside another room and asked her to please contact maintenance because our air conditioning was not working. At that point, however, we were already packing and preparing to leave because the room was so uncomfortable. When we checked out Sunday morning, I brought the problem to the front desk again. The representative essentially shrugged and said that perhaps the thermostat screen was stuck. There was no apology, no offer to have maintenance check the unit, no room adjustment, no compensation, and no attempt to resolve the situation. She simply proceeded to hand me the folio. The lack of functioning air conditioning was extremely disappointing, but the way the situation was handled by the hotel was even more disappointing. We made multiple attempts to have the problem addressed, and no one took ownership of it. We were literally sweating at checkout, yet there was still no meaningful response. I understand that equipment can malfunction, but I expect a hotel to make a reasonable effort to resolve the problem

Beautiful hotel. Rooms were clean, staff were very polite and helpful. Only 1 washer and dryer, just a heads up.

Really liked the ac above the bedroom and the breakfast.

Had to pay for parking , but it was a very clean and safe place .

The person at the check-in desk was extremely helpful with us getting an early check-in. We were extremely satisfied. Rooms were clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the pool and the Jacuzzi and the fitness room.

The room is generally clean but the shower is too narrow. We are petite people and still find hard to move around when we take shower.

We kept having trouble with the AC. It would have trouble blowing out cold air, then it would shut off so it got really hot at night. We would have to keep getting up in the middle of the night to turn it back on. Other than that the hotel was great.

The location is convenient to restaurants, and off of the freeway. The room was ultra clean, and the staff are all pleasant.
