Location, location, location!!! It isn’t the fanciest resort, but the location sells it! We stayed 20 years ago, last month, and plan to stay again!

clean room

Only complaint was there was not a microwave in our ocean side bungalow
-
I liked being able to walk out my door and sit on our privet porch and see the ocean and sunset. The staff is very nice and helpful.

The staff was very helpful.

Staff were super friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was amazing with great views from the 6th floor. The pools and beach access were great for our family. We really enjoyed our stay.
-
Love that our Bungalow was close to the beach and the main hotel. Loved seeing the cats roaming around! So cute! Parking was somewhat an issue, especially during the Luau times. I think the bathroom window coverings need to be more private. They are rather thin.

My wife and I visited for her birthday. We had a blast!!!

The staff are TOP NOTCH!! From check-in, housekeeping, breakfast staff, guest services, etc. These folks are humble, kind, welcoming, and such a pleasure to see every day of our stay. Whatever they are paid, they need a BIG RAISE! Because it’s these folks that are essentially the foundation to a successful business that will make guest want to come back over & over and we will certainly be back! Take good care of them because THEY make The Royal Lahaina 10/10

Good

First time in Hawaï and stayed at this hotel. It is honesty one of the best experiences.

The room was excellent, with a balcony that had amazing views. I loved the live music in the evenings. Didn't realise that breakfast was not included with the room. Additionally, we had unforeseen difficulty finding a cab back to the airport at 2 am when we checked out.

Location, facilities and beautiful right on the beach

Beautiful view on the sea side. Life music in the background evening Clearly understaffed from a cleaning perspective. Rooms are only made once every 2 days. All costs around the room are high ( the restaurant is half empty). You pay for parking despite there is plenty of space. Bigger chains (Hyatt, … ) maybe slightly more expensive. However the difference is probably worth the money.
