The location is very convenient, being quite close to both the village and the Great Escape. The accommodations, whether rooms or cabins, were remarkably clean. The staff and the owner were exceptionally accommodating and friendly, making a special effort to ensure our family felt comfortable and at home. We will certainly be booking our next family vacation with them. There really was not anything to dislike

Good looking property but far walk from Lake George TROLLY DOESNT PASS BY Awful, useless, incompetent, dishonest, and disrespectful staff just to name a few. They should be embarrassed to represent the great town of Lake George.

The setting was pretty. Nice size pool. Grills were available. Outside decks for every cabin. Elias was very kind and helpful. Was a little too quaint. Was not expecting to seem like a church camp…so rustic. Tiny bathroom area.

This place was great. It was just as described, the room was very clean and stocked with necessities. I enjoyed that each room has a front porch with a table, chairs, and grill. The pool was clean and had ample seating and umbrellas for shade. The staff was very friendly! I would defiantly come back here when visiting Lake George again.

Had a wonderful stay. Clean comfortable cottage. Average size room with small clean bathroom. Simple and wasn’t looking for anything fancy, just a cozy relaxing place to stay. And indeed it was! Coffee and danishes were offered if you wanted in the morning and if we needed anything they were there to help. We really enjoyed everything about this place and loved spending time with the owners sitting at the pool and around the fire pit waiting for the fireworks to start. The grounds were so beautiful and well maintained. Our 5 day stay was too short but already booked for 2 weeks in August and can’t wait to go back. And to add, there is a great deli across the street. Also, if you don’t want to drive into town you can pick up the shuttle right in front by the road for a buck fifty. Nothing

We wanted a place with a kitchen and the price was good. The owners were very friendly. It is an old establishment like many in the area but everything worked. It was mainly a base for us to travel around the Adirondacks.

Such a great stay! They had archery, zip lines, volleyball court, basketball hoop, a game room, a pool and a nice common area with a tv, coffee maker and games! The staff were amazing, sweetest people ever. Wasn’t exactly what we were expecting. Thought we booked a cabin and actually booked the chalet. Ended up loving it anyway.

Grounds were spotless and well kept. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Beautiful property. Cabin was a little more rustic than I would normally stay at but was an amazing value during a crowded event week at Lake George. I wouldn't consider this to be a negative. If a rustic cabin is your desire this is the place to be.

The kitchen had dirty dishes. The stools at the bar were so wobbly i didn't want to sit on them. There was chipping paint and broken wood. The bathroom was very tiny. The grounds were nice and very child friendly. We all liked the pool. It's an 8 minute drive to downtown.

It is what it is, them old cabins up north are like that so we just dealt with it.

Pillows flat and only 1 per person. Futon was broke could not open it into bed frame did not line up. Not enough towles and wash cloths for 6 people. 3/4 of a roll of toilet on roll no additional toilet paper in the cabin. Advertising as rock castle resort whis far from a resort. 1 full size bed in 1 room The other had bunk bed which was not disclosed. The on-line add was misleading did not represent the true picture of the place. Owner, wife, kids friendly Would not recommend or stay there again sorry to say.
