The Inn at Erlowest

Such a beautiful location. Room was clean for a semi cheap hotel but for 500 a night could of been a little better. Nothing enough to not stay just a observation. The older future is obviously part of the charm but some needed some maintenance. Thats me nit picking because overall the stay while short for us was wonderful and I would stay again. The staff had some issues (out of everyone's control) they were dealing with, and they were wonderful. Probably stressed but they didn't let on and always were gracious and awesome. The views and grounds are amazing. Overall a wonderful place with wonderful people. Dust under the bed, fix a couple handles on draws and add a second bathrobe and the 4.8 is a 5.0 out of 5. lol. Seriously anyone thinking of staying here, DO IT!

The light by my bed was not working.

The common areas are beautiful The rooms were so old. I was in the room for 10 minutes and my allergies started to go crazy I could not stay! Had to find another hotel … and still will have to fight to get my money refunded. DO NOT BOOK IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC

Location is wonderful. Beautiful Jews of the lake. Grounds are gorgeous. Room very comfortable. Dirty rug in room. Lukewarm coffee for breakfast. You need to make a daily reservation for breakfast , but no one tells you that.

I really liked the location — it was very convenient and offered a nice view of the lake. Unfortunately, my experience with the manager (her name was Lori, if I understood correctly) was terrible. When I politely asked for a glass of water to take a pill, she responded very rudely that she had no water and told me to go buy it if I needed it. Her attitude was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. Because of this, I had to cut my stay short and leave one day earlier, losing money for that night. From the beginning it was already clear that communication with her would be difficult. She completely ruined my stay.

Beautiful view and amazing staff and food

Only a few minutes to downtown Lake George - close enough to be convenient, but away from the congestion. Property is right on the water. We were in the Shepard suite and had a nice view of the water.

Absolutely perfect stay in Lake George! Our room’s bed was heavenly, dinner superb, and the free breakfast in the morning was amazing. Highly recommend! We will visit again for sure, but next time we will stay longer!

We were very happy with out stay at the hotel.

It is a beautiful location! Breakfast was a wonderful experience and delicious. The staff are so friendly and helpful. A wedding was going on and had access to our private balcony for pictures. That is absolutely expected, but a warning would be helpful as they could see directly into our room. The rate we paid was very high compared to other times we’ve checked.

The room and view were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very relaxing and easy stay. Nothing. We were even fine with the ghost.
