The property had a traditional wooden hut style which was lovely. It was spacious with its own swimming pool. The lighting inside the property was very poor and so you struggle to see things in great detail in the evening. We had some serious thunderstorms and rain water leaked through multiple places of the villa which was not good at all. This needs addressing. I think the cleanliness could be better- when we arrived, limescale around taps, one of the teaspoons was dirty, sink not very clean and the floor did not look as though it was deep cleaned. When a new guest arrives, these things should be spotless. I also did not like that housekeeping kept the villa doors open whilst cleaning which let in several mosquitoes and even a gecko/ lizard which we needed assistance with removing- and which was not found!

Breakfast was great and staff very friendly, great view of the pool and beach. Just a fan could have been installed in the outside entertainment area.

We moved from a beach front room to the grand pool villa and it was FABULOUS !!! This is our third stay at pavilions , we love lamai and this is in the most perfect sport for us !! Beautiful staff , easy to get to anything , yummy food and absolutely beautiful room! Loved it all and I am FUSSY Our beach front villa was a Little disjointed but the grand villa was sublime !

The room with pool and terrace right on the beach. The excellent service in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Very polite and efficient staff members. Lack of daily specials (such as catch of the day) in the restaurant on top of the regular menu

Lamai beach is one of the most beautiful places I know. Nevertheless the appearance of Pavilion on the beach is one of the worst ones Hotel have been subject to our complaints very heavily and they acknowledged and paid a partial refund, since private pool tiles were broken and we made shots of many other stuff which was not even at the level of 2 stars. Not even worth a visit from the outside. We asked to change our room while there was space in Booking.com but they said they were full. Nothing made sense including breakfast where It can take you 20 minutes to get 2 soft boiled eggs and most of coffee machines or toasters were broken...

Resort is set right on the beach which is really convenient with plenty of choices from beach bars, restaurants and eateries. The resort in general doesn't give off any spark of a 5* accomodation, it hasn't had any TLC in the last few years. Pretty poor condition pools, specifically the child's pool. As we entered the villa, our private pool was filled with debris from large plants/trees above and inside was quite dusty which is a clear sign it hadn't been cleaned recently. We were also greeted by a dead cockroach on the floor inside the living quarters, signs of wear and tear all around with rust close to the bathroom and shower areas. We've been travelling for over 21 hours, we ordered room service due to being exhasuted when my partner ordered via phone she was questioned "why cant you go to the restaurant, are you lazy?" When arriving for breakfast the following morning we were greeted by several staff members not wearing a mask, breakfast was very sub-par it didnt look appetising and as a head chef myself i can comfortably say that an unqualified cook could've produced the food supplied. We were only here for 2 days, thankfully. Ive stayed in 5* hotels all over the world and this was without a doubt my worse experience to date, especially because i paid for the most expensive room on the property and it all felt sub 3* in terms of what i experienced.

The property is located right on the beach and has a fantastic feel. Tropical luxury doesn’t come any better… large spacious bedrooms with great en suits, fantastic private swimming pool, a jacuzzi, dining and kitchenette fully equipped…. the Villa has 3 refrigerators. Well maintained and clean it was a pleasure to spend six nights here. the location in relation to restaurants, shops, night markets made the Villa perfect for adventuring and having fun. Highly recommended for a large family to relax and enjoy the Samui experience. Can’t complain about a single thing… it was the perfect holiday for the family.

The beachfront was amazing with our private pool and an almost private beach in front of our doorstep. I enjoyed every minute in the villa whether it'll be working at the outdoor dinning area, swimming in the pool or reading on the hammock . The location is also great with restaurants at walking distance. The manager is very attentive asking how our room is every morning at breakfast. On our first day, reminded the housekeeper to clean up the room which didn't seem it was done thoroughly (trash wasn't taken out nor did they clean up the outdoor dining area).
