Our stay here was excellent. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Staff is attentive and the pool was a wonderful place to unwind. It feels more like home than a hotel.

We liked the location and the breakfast included. We were meeting up with friends in both Troy and Saratoga Springs, so this location worked great.

BE EXTREMELY PREPARED if you are a Senior and are given a room on the second floor; THERE IS NO ELEVATOR HERE and a GOOD PITCH to the staircase, depending on your luggage; amount of staff is questionable for any and all necessities.

The motel was not well lit and hard to find after dark. The check-in is easiest from the back, so it looked like the place was deserted, which it wasn’t. Better lighting could help a lot with that. Staff was friendly, especially Linda at breakfast. Breakfast was very good. The room was clean except for right by the entry. The mini fridge had a cup with juice in it and it looked like something was spilled on the counter just above that fridge, which was a little disconcerting, but the rest of the room was very clean, so maybe this was an oversight. 8/10 overall.

Hotel room was quite spacious and nice, breakfast with fresh fruit was excellent. The hotel entrance is quite hard to find, and the drive way not well kept. We were having doubt if the place was open or not when we first drove in. Once we got through the entrance though, the classic cozy feeling kicked in and we felt right at home.

We loved our 3 day stay here! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. It rained one day, so they gave us passes to use the indoor pool next door. The breakfast cook made sure to speak with everyone, and keep the food stocked. The only thing I would say was an issue was they didn't clean our room at all when we were there for three days, but they did give us more toilet paper and towels when we asked for them.

FYI there are no elevators so if you are on the second floor you will carry your suitcases up the stairs. Not a deal breaker but good to know for families and older people.

Historic but fully updated building. (Except there is no elevator for upper floor) The lighting of the driveway makes a bit difficult to.find the main entry (which is on the rear of the building)

Pulling into the parking lot was an "oh, no" moment. This hotel has absolutely no curb appeal, and we almost turned away. However, the interior was much nicer. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was great. The breakfast was wonderful, with fresh strawberries and blueberries in addition to a full hot meal. We were very pleased.
