Radisson Resort Layan Phuket

I liked that it was very clean and the surrounding area was quiet. The staff were all very nice and welcoming. There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like.

Everything was really perfect. We enjoyed our holidays here. We hope to return very soon

Good Nothing

Breakfast and the staff from the breakfast were amazing, attentive and very kind.

The staff completely disrespected me, constantly invading my personal space and crossing boundaries. I was simply horrified — I woke up from some shouting at 8 a.m., not understanding what was happening. It turned out to be the staff, who clearly didn’t care about other people. They can yell, clean rooms, as if I were in the cheapest bungalow or hostel. Breakfast was extremely poor — no proper selection of meats or cheeses, just sausages, lots of local food and a lot of greasy pastries. On top of that, there was some kind of fake concern — hyper-care that was insanely irritating, as if I were in some circus with people who clearly do not understand that I am an adult and, if I need anything, I can ask for help myself. There is no need to run after me and ask about every single step I take. Where am I going? Am I waiting for a taxi? Even when I was sitting in lobby I felt that staff around very interesting about my next step and I should report every step i take. On the morning of my final day, I called to request water, even though I had been considering extending my stay — after this experience, I decided not to. My first call was ignored and no water was delivered. When I called a second time, I asked politely where my water was in a five-star hotel. The staff member responded, ‘Did you call before?’ — implying that I was somehow incompetent for asking a simple question. Instead of resolving the issue, the staff asked endless questions, wasting my time and energy — completely unacceptable for a five-star hotel. When I went to the reception and said that they didn’t even want to apologize for asking me questions that I perceive as extremely insulting and degrading my dignity, their eyes were so indifferent and empty.

Very chill and calm, the staff is amazing, the area is far from patong but very clean and calm comparing to patong, layan beach is nearby which is amazing for swimming quite and empty

New property, very cool design. Staff was warm and welcoming. Free parking was helpful. Location is good, Bang Tao Beach is 20 min away by car but road there is a bit bad and narrow. The seal on our bedroom door to the balcony was not tight so we could hear everything as if we were outdoors. So noisy need earplugs to sleep.

Very spacious rooms and bathrooms with both shower and bath. 3 large pools all across the hotel. The only problem we had was with the room service, other than that everything was great. They also have different areas, and a quiet big, nicely equipped gym. Room service

Very beautiful swimming pool, hotel area is well looked after and designed great, rooms are spacious and comfortable, staff is friendly and Beach near by is fantastic! Breakfast would be good to have little more fresh fruit and vegetables like avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers.. road to the beach is very busy with cars, passing through can be challenging

Beautiful property, loved the pools, very clean, amazing staff, delicious food and drinks, very comfortable beds, fantastic massages, short walk to the local beach, 30min drive to airport. Definitely recommend, will stay again when in Phuket!
