Great customer service and nice atmosphere

I love this place- I stay here when I travel to Houston for work.. on site steak house is always wonderful and you get access to the Marina Fitness Center. It’s the best gym ever!

Very nice entrance and grate staff!! Pool area is amazing. They do charge for breackfast but there is someone serving you . The bathroom in our room had a bit of rust on the tub and short sealing and I’m 5.4ft but other than that it was good

I’ve stayed at SSH for many years, was there when they were filming Space Cowboy!! Love the pool! The staff at the pool bar/food area were a little slow for the few people that were there, also no charging to your room, but luckily I had brought a card down with me. Slight hassle but everything else was in order.

Our room was not well clean, there was dust in furniture and behind of night stands was noticeable trash. Bathroom was old, damaged and shower has a leak.

The rooms need updating. There was no water for the coffee maker. It was just Ok. The bartender and the front desk employees were the best thing about the hotel.

It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The food at Opus was great. The only thing that was annoying were the doors to the rooms were not soft closing so heard alot of banging shut. We had an awesome balcony that overlooked the harbor. It was a rainy day but nice to be able to sit out there.

We had a blast as usual we go there every year we love staying here. they have a great breakfast love looking at the bay at all of the big boats the swimming pool is awesome. The staff is always very helpful and very kind.

Pool was wonderful. Clean rooms. Carpet was dated but well worth the pricing.

Hotel is not adequately maintained. Basic maintenance needs are being ignored. We had to change rooms due to HVAC issues, non functioning electric outlets in bathroom, and damp carpet. Rooms seemed clean, although the tile floors were sticky on bare feet … put large towels down to avoid walking on them. Only ONE elevator was working for the hotel and according to other reviews, this has been the case for several weeks. Employee burnout and indifference is obvious. In my opinion this property’s remaining highlights are the location and the pool. Won’t stay here again.

Loved the pool environment

The hotel was very nice, the only complaint that I have is the rooms do not get cold. The coolest it would get in there was around 74.

The pool was great but they charged me wrong at the pool bar. Also, the hotel room was fairly clean but there was chips on the ground when we walked in. Only one elevator was working. Lastly, the AC unit kept making a really loud banging noise every time it came on so it woke me up every 30 minutes. Got pretty much zero sleep
