Perfect place to stay if planning a visit to Tanglewood. Dalija is super helpful with tips and suggestions for activities in the area.

We attended the James Taylor concert at Tanglewood. This great place was a 10 minute walk to the venue, which turned out to be MUCH MORE VALUABLE then we thought it would be !! Not to mention, all at Eastgate was perfect ! Nothing I can think of.....

The owner is delightful and has an eye for detail as I thought the place was charming and very clean.

Dalija was an exceptional hostess and inn keeper. She made sure all our needs were met. She was knowledgeable about all resources available to us as she grew up in the area. And besides that she was charming!

What we liked: Choice of breakfast assorted muffins and coffee out for self serve, and host/owner made a hot breakfast (eggs, sausage, toast) to order for each guest. Comfortable round table on the large, shady covered porch facing her beautiful, immaculately kept back yard/garden; got to chat briefly with other guests and with our host. She generously shared her knowledge of the area and of Tanglewood (which is within walking distance on a wide sidewalk, as is downtown Lenox in the opposite direction). We enjoyed chatting with her and a few other guests. Our room and its bathroom were small, thoughtfully furnished (e.g., nightlight in bathroom, lots of hangers in closet) , had WiFi and an efficient window A/C unit. The house is back from the road and was quiet, inside the room and outside. The porch is large and has many cushioned chairs and chaise lounges; there is a patio with a circle of chairs and a fire pit in the garden. Easy drive to Lenox and its restaurants, to Tanglewood, Botanical Garden, etc. Nothing that I can think of…

Charming decoration throughout with many collectibles. Off-season breakfast was simple. Met my requirements just fine. The owner was very approachable and accessible by text.

Lovely Inn and Innkeeper. The room was clean and cozy. There was hot coffee and breakfast in the morning including homemade breads and fruit. We will be back!

We chose this B&B because it was in within walking distance to the Tanglewood concert area. The owner was lovely breakfast for each morning was excellent. Our room was a decent size with air conditioning.Breakfast we serve on a lovely large patio. My only complaint, and if it wasn’t for a big anniversary, we wouldn’t be able to afford the room as it was expensive. I believe it was over 300 a night. In any case, if you’re looking for a lovely B&B, this is a good one to choose.

Dalija is a wonderful host. She is charming, & accommodating. The B&B is situated perfectly for walking to town or Tanglewood. The accommodations are just phenomenal. We would absolutely stay there again when in the Bershires. Everything was perfect.
