This is our second time staying at BFI. It is a beautifully appointed and decorated BNB. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are delicious. The picnic for Tanglewood was delicious and a good value. It’s an easy walk into Lenox. We’ll be back next year!

The staff, very solicitous. Beautiful building. Unbelievable breakfast. My room was in a repurposed attic, very clean. New bathroom. But the room was minuscule, with slanted ceilings. Difficult to move around without hitting your head. However, in all fairness, I made a last minute reservation.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in early July. This is a classic New England inn- think cozy, warm and well lived. If you are looking for sleek and spa this is not it. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay with very friendly owners and staff- this is for you. The pool was fantastic bonus as it was 98 degrees during our stay.

Cute old inn! The bedroom was really super small… there was no hot water at disposal at night to make an herb tea… I had brought my own bags…

This place has charm and comfort in a lovely setting close to Tanglewood. I rested well and was treated like family. I will come again!!!

Great location within a 10-15 minute walk to restaurants and shops in central Lenox and also within walking distance or only a few minutes drive to Tanglewood. Great old house that has been well maintained. We took breakfast every morning on the deck just outside the main dining room — everything was delicious and a great way to start the day! Joe and Maureen are very hospitable and welcoming hosts!!

We were welcomed by the owners upon arrival. We enjoyed their warm hospitality in their comfortable and cozy inn and the home made healthy breakfasts. The bed was “cloud-like” for comfort. The inn is within short driving distance to cultural and nature experiences.
