Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lexington North

Good clean and comfortable rooms. The gym was decent but a few items were in need of repair.

All over I felt good and safe.

I always trust the Marriott brand and expect to see a clean and inviting hotel. I wasn't disappointed when I walked into the lobby because I could smell that signature Marriott scent. That alone lets me know this is the place to stay. All of that said, I was disappointed with the rest of my stay. As I mentioned, all was well at first, but this Marriott property did not meet my expectations. The room was subpar for a Fairfield or Marriott brand. The furniture looked scuffed and beat up. The lamp had a light bulb that kept flickering, so I unscrewed it. The grab bar in the shower was loose from the bottom, and you could see where it had rusted out in the wall. And, there was only one washcloth supplied! This is NOT up to Marriott standards!!!

Staff was fine, room was clean and breakfast was very good.

Mellisa and Brian are cheerful and attentive to my needs. The breakfast variety and cooked to perfection is good

The hotel is clean and easily-accessible, and seems to be in a safe area of the town just off the freeway. We checked in in the early hours of the morning, and were greeted promptly by the on-duty manager and checked in without any issue. Breakfast was good the next morning - there were plenty of options available, both hot and cold.

Location and cleanliness. Staff was very friendly. Melissa on Check in was awesome and friendly. Danny on our first morning was very helpful. Our door would not lock, so he changed us rooms. The lock on the new room had dead batteries and he worked to get us another. All good

The property felt old and not well maintained. The first room we were assigned overwhelmingly smelled like cigarette smoke, had broken light switches, dirty carpet and mismatched furniture. The room they moved us to smelled better, but definitely felt old and not cared for or cleaned well. I received an email from the manager after complaining about these things thanking me for letting them know and stating they hope to see us again for a future stay. Strange way to attempt to get repeat business.

For a short stay it’s okay the rooms could use some updating as well as maintenance. It was clean and quiet. Breakfast was okay the eggs tasted funny but rest was okay could have been hotter. Check-in was fast and efficient

Awesome stay

We arrived at 10:30 pm after a long drive from Georgia, so most parking spaces near the door were understandably taken. We had an uneventful check in, and made our way to our room. The bathroom was a disappointment. The sink had dirty water in it, and the overall look was not clean. The front desk sent someone to our room with a plunger to correct the problem. We were told that they didn’t have another available room to move us to. He was able to remove the water and wipe up the area. He said he didn’t have the right tool to completely remove the clog, so the sink would continue to drain slowly. We were able to use the shower and get some rest in a comfortable bed. Breakfast the following morning was fine.
