Holiday Inn Express Lexington Horse Park Area by IHG

My stay was perfect! The only very small issue that I had was the door sticking, but I think that was due to the heat and humidity. I let the front desk know and they thanked me and contacted maintenance immediately. The entire location was clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful, kind and professional. I didn't get breakfast in the morning because I overslept. I would definitely stay there again!

However, to remedy this, I immediately contacted the booking company within approximately one minute of receiving the confirmation to report the issue and request a correction. The booking company contacted the property on my behalf; however, both a refund and a date adjustment were denied. While I recognize that non-refundable policies are standard, this situation did not involve a change in travel plans. The reservation contained incorrect dates, and the issue was raised immediately after booking. Given the timing and the fact that the reservation was for a future date (which would not have prevented the hotel from selling that room to anyone else), declining any form of correction or accommodation was unreasonable. No alternative resolution, such as a date change or credit, was offered. The handling of this situation reflects a lack of appropriate responsiveness and flexibility in addressing a clear booking discrepancy.

Clean and comfortable.

Nice clean hotel, comfortable bed, hot shower, pool, great hot breakfast. Staff was very friendly and allowed me to check-in early.

Way to loud , could hear people across the hall , people beside me and the stomping of feet above me , oh and the slamming of the doors is just ridiculous !!! Won’t be staying here again

Booked with them because they were pet-friendly, I was traveling with my dog. The hotel itself was excellent but they lacked information on where my dog could go to do her business. No markings whatsoever. However I did find a poop station while taking a walk. Just would be nice if it was well marked or they gave out a cheat sheet when you check-in. They do require that you inform them that you have a pet. Also, it would have been nice if they had an area for those times when it is pouring rain and your dog really needs to go. Now that I know the lay of the land everything is good and I will book with them again.

Beautiful design lobby and rooms are very nice and clean. Breakfast area is awesome . Indoor pool is nice and clean. Want to go back just to stay there .

The room was very comfortable . I am disabled and there were ample parking spaces for me to easily leave my car and come into the hotel.

Traffic getting to the hotel was terrible! Fortunately there is a Cracker Barrel restaurant within walking distance as the thought of leaving and fighting our way back through traffic was awful. The front desk staff were friendly but unhelpful. I had secured two rooms for our traveling party. We made sure that it was clear in check in that I would be paying for one room and payment for the other room would be made by my companion. The check in staff said ‘no problem’ and took my friend’s credit card info for the payment on his room. When checking out the next morning I asked the clerk for a receipt and he told me that I would receive that from Expedia. Not only have I not received a receipt, but my credit card was charged for both rooms! A minimal amount of effort on the part of the staff at checkout would have avoided this.

May me you should have a couple of more EV charging stations. Else the property and the amenities and excellent.
