Hostal Iquique

Very nice entrance with tiles in the walls Please know that I did not stay there because I made a mistake about the location. I needed to be in Miraflores and this hotel is far from Miraflores The gentleman at the front desk was super nice. I had just arrived from the Airport and he allowed me to connect to his WiFi. He helped me to find a way to do a cancelation and he told me to solicit a now cancellation charge which he immediately accepted I wish I could have stay there with such a nice staff There is nothing negative I have to say about this place

Iquique was ALL that I could have desired and MORE❗ The establishment was super clean, the staff super helpful, knowledgeable, & congenial... and the location convenient plus within easy access to everywhere. Breakfast added to these PLUSES ALSO❗ -

This guesthouse is lovely. The courtyard full of flowers and plants, clean and well-lit room, nice and helpful owners. The location is near to the city center.

Nothing really. The bed, the bathroom, the location on side street, smells of drugs. Not a very safe location from what I have seen.

It was great. Good price, friendly owners / staff. The bed is a touch on the firm side. The place was safe, clean, and accommodating, and ? worth the cost / convenience. Everything was fine.

Small Room, good to stay for a night, was very noisy by people talking next door

Nice breakfast, friendly staff. Rooms with the bathroom. Not a safe area, especially at night. In the hotel is very loud. You hear all the sounds from the corridor. Couldn't sleep and woke up very early because of the noise.

It's clean and mattress very comfy. Big room but cold at night. Private toilet with towels and toiletries included. Breakfast is very basic bread butter jam and freshly cooked egg but satisfying.George speaks English well and very helpful.The location is very convenient 15 to 20 minutes walk to big mall REAL PLAZA.wherein you can buy whatever you need plus food court the food are nice and very cheap.Food court and supermarket in basement. You can walk further 15 minutes from the mall to reach the historical center plaza de armas its all very beautiful so many nice shops and nice restaurants. Very good hot shower but the water from the shower room is sloping in wrong path and down to bedroom and very wet all around (room 310) but will dry the following morning.

I thought the staff here were really helpful and nice. It's not the flashest hotel but it's adequate and in a reasonable good location. The wifi worked well and the shower had plenty of hot water. The room only had a window facing into the passageway of the hotel so if you opened it or left the curtain open, it could be noisy and not too private.

Helpful staff, basic Peruvian breakfast of eggs and bread, with coffee. Had a hot shower. The location is in the centre of Lima but not much to do per se - 30min drive to airport, bus station, Miraflores.

The mattress was too hard.

They have breakfast included, with delicious scrambled eggs. The hostel is more of a motel kind of looking, very authentic. It is located in a district I was told to be sort of dangerous, but it is not at all. At least I did not feel threatened.

The personnel was very friendly. The breakfast was very good as well and the location was within walking distance of the city center. I would personally have preferred a more quiet location, but that could just be me (I am not a backpacker and I do not sleep easily).
