Royal Sweet Dreams Airport B&B

The location was wonderful, in a quiet residential neighborhood with a short walk over to the zoo and botanical gardens. Martin, the owner also got up early and made me a delicious breakfast. Nothing

I booked this accommodation based on the ratings over 9. To be honest that is overrated. Martin is friendly and chatty but the accommodation (upstairs of his private house) is basic with limited facilities, no wifi was offered, no TV (not so important). Pillows and duvet could be better. Room was ok. There is nothing in the area. We found restaurants about 10-15 min walk away. Shower screen in the bathroom was dirty and needs to be cleaned.

The breakfast was very good. Martin is a chef cook !

The neighborhood was pretty safe and calm. The host was friendly, and the overall quality compared to its price. Near to the parque de las leyendas. Weak water when taking shower.

It was very close to airport - 20 mins by taxi. Martin, the host, was very friendly and a very tasty fresh breakfast was served. It is a Guest house where owners live in the ground floor and rooms in the first floor is rented out. It was quite far from the city and attractions.

The space was large and private, and it offered everything that we needed. We enjoyed our balcony overlooking the park. The property felt safe and our ride to the airport took only 15 minutes!

Martin keeps the property very clean and neat. He is super attentive to any and everything you may need. My breakfast omelet was delicious, and was served at the time I requested and presented lovely. The B&B is very easy to find and is surrounded by lots of good restaurants and casinos! Nice little park directly across from it and my boyfriend and I enjoyed walking around the community in the evening as it was peaceful. Only draw back is that it’s close to the airport so you’re constantly hearing loud planes fly over mostly during the day. Quieter at night which was good for sleep.

I had an outstanding stay at Sweet Dreams. Martin the owner understands hospitality, and it’s true what all the reviews say, he makes your stay special. Everything was clean inside the home, with shampoo, soap, and water provided, and Martin even made a fresh, delicious lunch to take to the airport early in the AM for me. Too kind! I stayed for a night after my flight was cancelled, and took advantage of the situation by exploring Museo Larco which was a short Uber ride away. The surrounding neighborhood is calm and safe, with a tranquil park directly across the building. Good for a longer stay as well!

Clean. 15 minutes from the airport. Martin was very accommodating and arranged transportation for us to and from the airport.

The manager went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed including walking me to a restaurant that I was not able to find on my own. Above and beyond the call of duty

Good location. I didn't have a key to the gate, I had to ring the doorbell.

The owner was very kind and helpful. Several of the guests had really early flights the next morning, and the host helped us book transport and offered to make us sandwiches for the road. He also got up early with us to make sure our Ubers/taxis came on time. The B&B was about 20 minutes from the airport, so ideal if you have to get up at the butt crack of dawn for your flight like me. It also seemed to be in a relatively safe area of Lima, though I didn't explore much. The host provides drinking water, soap, and shampoo, which was nice. The accommodations were a little cozy, meaning you could hear every toilet flush, door open, and conversation throughout the B&B. This made it difficult to sleep through the night. It's not the host's fault at all, it's just the way the building is set up.

Martin, the owner, is a very nice guy. His English is good since he worked 20 years in the U.S. We arrived late. Martin welcomed us with a nice cup of hot tea and muffins. The B&B is located in a nice neighborhood, not far from the airport, nice place to stay if you want to catch an early or late flight. It is also close to the city zoo and botanical gardens if you have time to kill. Breakfast was excellent. We spent a comfortable night after two weeks intensive travel in Peru and before flying home. And the price is very reasonable. Would gladly stay again.

There is no wifi -- I should have noticed that when I booked so I could have been prepared with international roaming.

Really close to the airport, extremely hospitable host, and the only place I stayed with continuous warm water. Very quiet. The bathroom is shared with other guests.

Anyone’s stay here will be highlighted by Martin’s hospitality. He ordered me taxis from and to the airport at 3 and 4 am, was there to receive me that early, made breakfast every day, and walked me to the money exchange. You definitely get more than what you pay for, and the location is close to the airport. Perfect for anyone who wants to make sure they have a smooth arrival to Lima.

Martin is an amazing host who goes above and beyond. He is so kind and generous and makes his traveling guests feel right at home. The place is conveniently located, about a 20 minute uber ride from the airport, in the local neighborhood of San Miguel with plenty of shops and little restaurants within walking distance. About a 30 minute walk to the huge San Miguel mall that has everything you could need including more restaurants. And a 20-30 uber ride to visit the beautiful beachside MiraFlores neighborhood. Martin provides an amazing breakfast and some extra goodies as well.

This is a clean, simple accommodation in a safe area not far the LIM. What made it extraordinary is Martin’s kindness and excellent attention to his guests.

Good communication with host. I arrived late and that was not a problem.
