Good rooms . Darkness and the smell at the lobby

They charged me twice for the mini bar. I expressed displeasure, but the charge was applied. Troubling indeed.

There was construction work taking place in the building next door, which was somewhat disruptive on Monday morning. I hadn't heard it at any point prior to that morning and it was not communicated that construction may be taking place. A slight inconvenience but not enough to ruin my entire trip.

Excellent location in a super neighborhood , easy check in, clean and comfortable room with great hot water in the shower! Staff at front desk were excellent. Only one small elevator which was a pain at check in and check out but otherwise there are stairs.

Excellent location. Within 5-10 minutes of every tour (walking and Sintra bus tour) I did. Close to public transit, restaurants, and drinks.

Fantastic location. Very nice and welcoming staff. Room had great design and a good mini-bar. Good blackout curtains. Free pastéis de nata ! Squeaky floors. Glass shards inside the bed on the last night. The room was advertised as having a balcony but then it didn't.

No gym. This is mostly a place to sleep don't expect much. Which doesn't mean it is bad but good for a short stay

The staff is unfriendly, almost rude which made the stay a little unpleasant. Too bad because rhe hotel is very pleasant.

The staff is super unfriendly, borderline rude. Made the stay a little unpleasant. Which is too bad, given the fact that the hotel is super nice.

Location was perfect. I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The rooftop bar was closed and no food was being served, neither of which was mentioned before booking. We booked through Booking.com and paid extra for a balcony city-view room, reserving two weeks in advance and keeping in regular contact. Despite this, we were given the wrong room on arrival. The staff showed no apology or accountability for the mistake and didn’t offer any refund for the extra we had paid. We were able to move to the correct room for our second night, but even then we noticed that all toiletries—like soap—had been removed, presumably because we had already used the ones from the first room. Both rooms felt old and dated, and overall the experience left a lot to be desired. The kitchen odor from the first room was unbearable and you could not have the window open. After the room change, the staff became noticeably cold and unfriendly. They blamed Booking.com and claimed they had no record of our balcony room booking, which was quite frustrating. I would only recommend this hotel for a very short stay due to its convenient location. For longer visits, I believe there are better hotels nearby that offer more comfort, cleanliness, and genuinely friendly service.

It is centrally located to restaurants, metro, and tram. The rooftop bar is small but very nice and Juan made it better. Wi-Fi was efficient. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Photos shown on the websites are deceiving. What looked like an in hotel bar, was really the restaurant next door. This is where breakfast is served. Even though two booking sites said English was spoken, we found that the staff’s English was very limited with the exception of Juan. We tried speaking other languages we know, Spanish,Italian, but no luck. This hotel needs a refurbishment. It looks tired and rooms are very dark as pointed out by other reviews.

LGBT+ friendly. How close it was to all of the nightlife in Bairro Alto I would recommend better warm lighting in the restrooms to use for better make up application.
