We stayed just for one day and a half, however, the staff was really nice, we were lucky to get a early check-in (coming from the US on a red eye this was nice especially for wife and kid). Unfortunately during our stay my 5yr old had to visit the hospital due to stomach bug, when we got back late at night the staff was really helpful with all of our needs, every person that we spoke to and requested some sort of help was really friendly and took care of our needs, we really appreciated this hotel.

The bed was a bit hard and the pillows were very flat. The soap bottle in the shower also had a pubic hair (or body hair) on it that I noticed before ever using the shower.

Room was clean, We stayed in a room on fourth floor and an event was taking place on May 23rd which we were not told about prior so access to bar, lounge restaurant was prevented. The hotel should have private conference rooms if they want to host events as this takes away from guest services which guests have paid for. Breakfast on Sunday May 24th was missing items which were there on previous mornings. We had to eat early to get to airport so could not wait for any late arrival of breakfast items. The bed mattress cover was plastic which made sleeping uncomfortable. There should be an additional fabric cover over the plastic to prevent feeling sweaty while sleeping. The bed sheet was put on last over top of the duvet. Typically, a bed sheet should be under a duvet cover. The price was not competitive. We also stayed 3 nights at the Marques de Pombal, the breakfast was better, the staff very attentive, the room was more comfortable and the price was significantly lower.

The staff is terrible. Not helpful at all, they respond with a bad attitude, and they are definitely not prepared to do the job of serving customers.

Most of the services were Ok. The personnel at the breakfast restaurant should be aware when they are running out of food. Just once happened they didn't notice this, and I had to wait for 10 minutes until the food I wanted was ready.

Lastly, the room faced the interior of the building and while it didn’t have the best city view, that helped from any street noise. I would suggest making sure the ACVH works, we didn’t mentioned anything because we were already settled into the suite.
