Staff kept in good touch by messaging; decent breakfast provided by local bakery; lots of space; full kitchen (but almost no kitchenware!) Had to deal with narrow steps up a floor to elevator; tiny shower; a bit far from metro with luggage; creaky floors above bedroom
-
The suite was a lot bigger than expected! There was a water mess in the bathroom, however the staff was quick to answer and offer solutions and deal with the issue.

Great location. Room was a good size, with extra space to sit & relax. Shower was really good & bed was really comfortable. Nice quiet room & overall enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was terrible, very basic & really average food, very disappointing.

Central location and clean.
-
Nice breakfast It’s not possible to leave your luggage and no pre-information about thls. If you want to leave your baggage it’s 15 minutes away from location. And there was a smell in the room which might be because of old building

The location was excellent. Lots of restaurants all around and a few minute walk to a very busy town square. It was quiet, the shower was nice. We saw no one, everything was handled by message but everytime I sent a message it was answered very promptly. We only received the code to the door as our plane was coming down into Lisbon. That was a bit un nerving!! There was a flight of stairs we had to climb with our luggage. Seeing we were getting on a cruise ship, we had more luggage than usual, plus we are seniors so had a struggle getting up and down especially on arrival after long flights.

The check in is not in the same location since the hotel does not have a front desk and you need to walk and do the check in in another hotel ?

Check in process wasn’t great. I contacted hotel to ask for check in code 1 week prior but they said it could only be released closer to check in date. I still didn’t get this until I messaged the day of check in. Then they gave me a code that didn’t work. I had arrived alone in Lisbon 1am so I was left outside the hotel unable to get in which was quite scary. There is an emergency contact number but my SIM card didn’t allow for calls. I had to resort to finding a nearby hotel for help

Location and decor were awesome. Response from host was great. The shower was a little slow to drain.

Location

Excellent central location. Breakfast around the corner at a local bakery was sufficient but not very comfortable

Beautifully decorated. Prime location and breakfast included at a delicious shop. The cold/hot water was a little difficult to adjust. It was extremely sensitive and would turn to boiling hot. It was by far the most expensive property we stayed at in the 4 different cities, all very comparable, and it wasn’t our favorite. It’s nicely decorated but it’s a very old venue and you can tell.

Spacious room with comfortable bed and great shower! Location was amazing! Staff were lovely, very clean as well. Room poorly ventilated - really had to make sure to keep windows open. Also lots of strange noises at night, felt like pipes, creaks and others for hours.. and could hear took on top of us moving their suitcases super early in morning which woke us up.

Small issues such as issue with the TV remote control and Communication with the management (responses were not prompt).

Very comfortable suite. Luxurious stay before our Camino walk. Checking in was not in the same location as the property. We landed early in the morning and I asked the taxi to drop us off at the property, but it was closed. We had to walk a few blocks to the hotel which could take in our bags as the check-in time is at 3pm.

The bed was fine. It was quiet. Check in was supposed to be at 3 pm. The property said they would send a code when the room was ready. They did not send a code by 3. I called repeatedly at 3 and no one answered. I called Booking.com help and they could not contact the property. The property finally answered about 3:40 and claimed they had sent the code. They had not. It was not in my email inbox or spam. They then texted the code. This was apparently par for the course as we met a couple who had the same experience the next day. The shower ran boiling hot or cold; no proper temperature. The lobby had an overpowering smell of lavender and cinnamon. You have to climb stairs to the first floor. There is an elevator to the higher floors.

Rooms were super spacious and nicely decorated. All the staff at the welcome center were super helpful and welcoming. Breakfast voucher for nearby Cafe was extremely limited. No vegan or vegetarian options. They were also doing some sort of renovation/maintenance project in the hall leading up to the room so there was all sorts of equipment lying around.

Great location and easy self check in process. The suite was enormous, beautifully decorated, high ceilings, lovely little library on our floor.

Wasn't known up front that no staff on site and that we could not drop luggage early. 10 steps up to the elevator.
