The location was very convenient. As predicted, it is a steep climb up the stairs to an upper floor room, especially if one is carrying heavy luggage.

The room was large, comfortable and well equipped with a kettle and fridge. Bathroom was clean and shower good.

Room well set up but a little tired. Shower temperature and pressure not optimal but worked with some fiddling. Huge curtains in the bedroom had come off the runners so wouldn't completely close.

A bit noisy as the building is single glazed and the room was facing the street. Perhaps it may be a listed building where no changes to the facade are allowed.

Location for me was excellent in terms of where i needed to get to. Room was clean. How to get in to hotel & room was well communicated. No staff. No information in room on WiFi connection. The single bed in room 9 was awful, loud creaking with every move or turn so little sleep, should have videod. No black out blind or curtains. Room 9 was at the top of the hotel, several floors by stairs. Whilst not the hotel's fault, the local Mosque was noisy in to the evening and a dog nearby with a deep bark kept barking a lot.

Getting a little frayed round the edges. The lock on the door to my room ( no 8) didn't work. Good shower in nice bathroom. Location good for my evening entertainment at the Philarmonic dining rooms.

The view from the room window amazing of Liverpool cathedral. Very quiet A lot of steps and no lift to the top floor. Yet I knew this prior to checking in as the guesthouse mentioned this.

Unfortunately we were not able to have the breakfast as we didn’t have cash on us. Would be helpful if this is explained when booking so we could have been prepared.
