Hotel 105 by Hillcrest Hotel

No breakfast on offer but plenty of places on Bold Street to choose from. Tabac being a favourite. Perfect location. Comfy beds, cotton sheets and fluffy towels. Soap and shampoo, kettle, iron, safe. Shelf in bathroom would have been very useful and another hook for towel or dressing gown. Communal area looking tiered. Carpet needs replacing and paint work needs touching up. I’m 70 so using social media to enter into hotel and room could be very challenging for some people my age.

I was close to the bars We didn’t stay we walked out .the bathroom had a nasty smell .the air con didn’t work so put a fan on and it was dirty .the side tables next to each side of the bed were falling apart.the hallway on all floors stunk

Great location, comfortable beds There is a club below of which we could hear the music, not to a crazy loud level but enough to be distracted by it. You access the hotel from the back of Bond Street but this wasn't abundantly obvious on the booking - had to wander around to find the entrance.

The location was very central, near great bars and restaurants The rooms were clean, but there was a strong smell of damp in the corridors. Although I expected some street noise because of the location my room (room 4) was directly above a bar/nightclub. The music could be heard in the room all day, but peak time between 10pm and 1am the noise was unbearable - the room was vibrating

Very central location. Good decor. Reception, which is remote, didn't answer the phone. Information was emailed to me. No towels in the room, just a hand towel.

No ordinary channels! I found it quite frustrating! I don't understand why! Room was quite cold

Too noisy you could bearly sleep at night. Room 1 not reccommended. Continuous noise from the street and generator noise in the room

Hotel was very clean and bed was comfortable. Central location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very noisy in the street outside, but that's the compromise for a central location. Had to ask for a remote control from reception to work the heating.

Everything you need for a Scouse overnighter. Great location bang in the centre. All good as long as you can cope with stairs!

Location was ok. No TV channels on the bedroom TV. Just Netflix and a load of other nonsense. We couldn’t watch the racing on Saturday afternoon.

Great location and nice modern room with good bed. Staff is friendly, stored my bag prior to check-in. Clean and relaxing place. Nice neighborhood for food, drinking etc. close to everything. It could be noisy on weekends I'm sure but on my Thursday night there was no issue at all.

Unfortunately we happened to travel during a heat wave and there was no AC so the room became very stuffy and hot. The window facing the street was shut closed so it was very hard to ventilate the room. Plus there was a little bit of a smell.. Could be because of the humidity.

The entire facility smelled really bad the moment we walked up the stairs thoward our room, the smell was like mold mixed with cigarettes. Our room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it smelled overwhelmingly like cigarettes. And all the products they tried to use to cover the smell only made it worse. The bathroom was dark and used for smoking by previous renters. There was no ventilation in the bathroom. Overall you can't get to your room fast enough, and you can't hold your breath long enough. Ànd there is no relief in the room. This hotel was rated 8.2 on booking.com, I would give it more than 3. I would not recommend!
