Traditional Sunday roasts and afternoon teas are offered. An extensive wine list, Frizzanti sparking wine on tap and cocktails are available at the bar. Liverpool's bars, shops and attractions are less than 10 minutes’ walk away. John Lennon Airport is a 30-minute drive away. The location is perfect. The staff were lovely. Tea making facilities at breakfast were a bit of an ordeal.

The breakfast was really good nice selection and not over busy

The location is ideal for exploring. The breakfast could have been better. I had an omelette which was undercooked. My husband and friends had the full English but the sausages were undercooked and everything else overcooked.

Location is amazing, is in the heart of Liverpool, so everything you can do walking, the bedrooms are really good, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is complete and plenty options available.

The location was great the breakfast was good and the staff were nice but over worked by the management team . The rooms were very small , the bed mattresses were old and you could feel the springs . we had to move rooms because the bed was so uncomfortable . The second room was just as bad . The lighting was too bright in the rooms no ambience . No air conditioning, the bathroom was tiny . The decor was dark with no pictures of the wall . All the rooms need to be updated the rooms have been done on the cheep in my opinion.

This hotel is in a great position for mathews street and a leisurely walk from shopping precinct , museums , Albert docks and attractions along the Mersey. The bar closed early both nights 10pm , there is no food available for lunch or Dinner only breakfast , there is no air-conditioning in the rooms

Breakfast was superb, location excellent. Staff couldn’t do enough to help us. Superb all round. Couldn’t find anything to fault it.

Location was fabulous for friends visiting Liverpool for first time central to everything The lift wasn’t working, the extractor fan in bathroom wasn’t working, shower glass didn’t prevent bathroom from flooded when having a shower, key cards didn’t work everytime we returned to our room, breakfast was rubbish and no indication of evening meals not being catered for. The building smelled damp.

I arrived for a one night stay with my teenage son and we checked in just after 3pm. The room was very clean and comfortable. I noticed that the radiator cover was damaged so I informed the staff in order to protect the £50 security charge that I paid on arrival. The staff member took a photo and logged this straight away. The toilet didn't flush but after informing the staff we were very quickly offered an alternative room. However, due to circumstances out of our control and not connected to the hotel we had to leave at 9.30pm so didn't get to stay the night as planned. The night time receptionist was very helpful and said he would see if my £50 security deposit could be returned sooner than the 10 days. From the short time we were there we found it to be very clean, quiet, and the staff were more than helpful. It is a shame we couldn't stay but we would book this hotel again the next time we come to Liverpool. Nothing
