The property was in a great location and had great decoration. Great roof bar ! Nothing

Colourful and great view Bathroom mirror was too high and lighting was poor. Shower was impossible to moderate, either scalding hot or cold. Also very hard to get in and out of, no need for it to be a spa bath when there was a HUGE one in its own room??

It was out fourth time to stay in the shankley and we have always enjoyed our stay from the booking in where the staff were so pleasant the young lady that booked us in it was her first day so she was a bit nervous but the rest of the staff were really nice with her explaining what she had to do we went to our room where we found it clean pleasant and comfortable the same as every other stay we have had we booked breakfast for the two morning and it was lovely so much choice and plenty to eat and the staff that served us were so happy and chatty the one lady was sue I can't remember the other names but they were all so helpful asking us what our plans were for the day and they were always smiling we will definitely be staying again I also recommend the hotel to a friend and they stayed last weekend and enjoyed the stay and the breakfast just as much as we did There is nothing bad to say

Location Room in need of some up-keeping, looking very tired and tatty. More furniture/surfaces to put things on and hooks in the bathroom.

The staff are the reason this hotel is so great. Even my kids commented on how kind the women were serving breakfast and asking about our trip . I didn't catch their names sadly but honestly more than kind and attentive. The reception also put out chocolates in our room and a happy birthday card for my son . Its the little things that make your trip more rememberable. Nothing it was all fantastic start to finish !

Lovely hotel for groups 6 of us shared a spacious room all double beds very clean and staff were friendly. Didnt know how to use the shower ...but we never asked
