Highly recommend!! Very convenient location, very comfortable beds in spacious room, wonderful breakfast, extremely helpful and friendly staff, easy parking. And beautiful building! This is the perfect place to stay! I have no complaints!

PANCAKE MACHINE and friendly staff

It is a historic hotel, and the location is great!!! The bathroom was fully renovated The interior design is really bad, the room was scorching hot even if I told the front desk every day from the first night that I needed the ac fixed, especially in the living room, it was really bad. I couldn’t get a good night’s sleep. The bedroom itself was tiny. The fact that there was carpet all over! It made it difficult to move the luggage and it was dirty and stained.

Entering and exiting the garage was a little tricky at first. Just know that you have to get your ticket validated at the front desk every time before you leave. Also, there’s a metal grated garage door that needs to be opened either by calling the front desk from your car, or a passenger can get out of the car and walk a ways to get to the other side to push a button on the wall.

Meticulously well maintained, preserving its beautiful exterior facade while providing an elegant modern interior. The location was perfectly situated at the top of the town center. We loved everything about the property, the staff and our stay. They anticipated all of their guest’s needs from start to finish.

Our room was a very good size and very clean. The hotel staff was excellent. The breakfast was excellent with many really good choices. The breakfast staff was excellent. The hotel location is super good, a one minute walk to the three bridges. Also, the walk to the rest of old town was very near. The main bus station was just an easy eight minute walk. The price for our stay (five nights) was quite favorable. We have nothing negative to say about this very nice hotel.

The location . The hotel is situated in the center of Ljubljana and near major attractions I like everything about the property.

It’s an older hotel with unique features like a beautiful staircase, yet it also has all necessary modern amenities. And the staff members were all very helpful! Nothing

Great location but can be noisy at night. Concierge staff was amazing A bit noisy at night. Breakfast staff not very friendly or polite and we’re arguing amongst each other.

The Concierge Matej and all the other Reception Team, beginning with Tara were wonderfully helpful and thoughtful. They really make your experience in a new place. Tara's restaurant suggestions were only surpassed by Matej's! Georgie's was really excellent! I love that staying in this hotel I could hear the bells so clearly and next time I'll request a room on the side nearer the Church, as the sound is deeply resonant and a most healing frequency. That pink church tho, not good vibes! I very much enjoyed my room, I love the intricate paintwork on the building opposite, and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom has an elegant modern feel that somehow works with the art nouveau origins and style in the room and the rest of the hotel. Lovely High ceilings. Great sitting area, spacious, the whole room and bathroom are beautiful and super comfortable. The breakfast and the breakfast staff. I don't know why but they are kind of rude. And, the breakfast is pretty average which is surprising, I expected something quite lavish, although I don't eat all that much in the morning... Their fruit selection was ok, they did have breads and cheeses, hams etc... I prefer porridge tho and there was none, but they did have avocado, I'm not sure how they got it, and it was nice to have it on toast, but there is no salt! The coffee was ok... just a bit lacklustre, which wouldn't be so bad but the staff are rude so it seems worse! I spoke to the front desk and I'm sure they'll improve shortly! Also the lights above the reception desk are so bright I can't look at the people I'm speaking to and I don't know what the purpose of so many lights is... it is out of keeping with the style of the hotel and a strong discomfort... I hope they change that, for the guests and for the health of the staff!

Heating in the room was bad. We stayed there over the New Year's holiday and temperature outside was minus 10 overnight. The room was not freezing but was uncomfortably cold. Staff tried to fix it but it seems that the heating system was just not working properly.

Good and ample

Beautiful building and room, in a great location. Would recommend to anyone! The breakfast spread was all delicious and the staff was helpful and friendly. The beds are more firm than I would have liked
