My room was separate from the rest of the hostel so the door into my room was the door onto the road. There were no curtains on the windows so street lights and car lights left the room very bright and it was loud with the bar crawl from the pub. The pub workers seemed inconvenienced by hostel guests.

The toilets and showers were good, I was able to lock away my belongings, I felt very safe here The pillow wasn’t very comfortable but everything else was great!

Common area is just a hallway. In the kitchen there are little utensils including knife. You only find plastic fork, spoon and plastic knife, which is mostly useless if you want to slice something. There isnt a stove to cook, just misrowave. Toilet and shower is together and they arent separated for women and men.

Good point: The location of this hostel is right at the centre of the city. There are some points to be improved: 1. I paid for 6-bed dormitory with windows & requested for a bottom bed but the hostel staff failed to notice this request & I ended up staying in 14-female dormitory in a reason of being a woman while I overpaid. Even if that female staff asked her boss for a solution, yet it still couldn’t be changed as most of the beds were taken/booked by other tourists already. Angrily, I had no choice to change my accommodation since my luggages were delayed by the airline, but to take it. 2. The price was not worth to the facilities: old bed duvet, uncomfortable pillow & the room was so hot as the remote control was not kept in the room for us to adjust. So other roommates & I had to ask the staff to change it, every time, the room was hot. How inconvenient that is! 3. The kitchen was not fully equipped: no stoves & other appliances. Only plastic forks, spoons, knifes, glasses, plates , fridge & microwave . Basically, only cold foods could be made. 4. Their hospitality & service were not good or considered as a hostel, more of making extra money on the top of their first business (a bar) which is below the hostel.

Biggest minus was lack of kitchen - there was only microwave and kettle, and no proper cutlery, only few plastic spoons, forks, knives. So not even possible to slice a sausage for your bread. Hostel door did not lock, so basically everyone could walk in. It was also very uncomfortable to open, as instead of handle it had a small hole, where you had to insert the finger to pull the door open. There was also some noise from the downstairs bar which hosts pub crawls, though noting that pair of earplugs couldn't solve.

the room was clean, I liked my roommates, and the overall atmosphere was good. At times the management seemed unintentionally disrespectful

Perfect location, clean rooms and toilets, very quiet even though there's a pub downstairs. Great value for money!

Overall, it’s a ok hostel, the check-in place is at a bar. The location is good:) it has a small kitchen with fridge, kettle, plates. Oh the locker is big and it’s good! A little bit overpriced since they don’t really have a good and well organized kitchen and common space

I have to say I am very surprised of how good it was. Everything is clean, and the room was extremely silent. Very nice staff and I think it is the perfect place when you are traveling alone and don't want to spend too much money.

Staff really rude. I didn’t have the money, in cash, required to the deposit right away and the staff was really rude to me, saying basically “figure it out and come back when you have the money”, in an aggressive way. I went to the ATM to get it (fees almost doubled the price for me). I understand they seemed overwhelmed because they also are waiters on the bar downstairs, but this does not justify the treatment. I seriously consider leaving and just finding another place to sleep, but didn’t find anything minimally affordable on the city. On the following day, a customer was complaining that his charger was missing and again, the staff treatment was rude. Even if they couldn’t do anything, they could have been way more polite and helpful. They acted like it was the customers problem only. Seems it is necessary to have staff dedicated to the hostel, so they can provide the attention and fair treatment to customers.

It is a very good hostel. I recommend you to come once. It is cheap and clean.

Great central location and a short direct walk to the train/bus station. Very clean, so clean I couldn’t see any cutlery in the kitchen. Oversized storage locker under the bunks. Beds are very comfortable and a bar serving coffee downstairs. No privacy curtains for the beds, small pillow and overwhelming sewer smell in the shared bathroom.

Staff were trying, but clearly it is not good. Bathrooms. Construction. Closed rooftop. Slamming interior doors. No social structure. All of these are fixable problems. No attention or care to fixing for better guest care.

I did not sleep well because the air condition was running all night.. Unfortunately, the window could not be opened. Therefore, it was really hot and loud so I did not find a good rest. I missed fresh air....

Very kind check in staff. They provide you with a clean towel, which is nice. The facilities are clean (though the bathroom got a bit stinky). I only stayed one night but appreciated how the guests all seemed to respect the space and cleaned up after kitchen use, etc. comfortable beds. Close to the bus station but also easy to access the center town and old town. Bathroom was a bit smelly. Window in the women’s dorm didn’t open without a key (not sure it was as allowed.. didn’t ask).

-Location near to bus station -The young blond lady in the bar check in was very friendly and helped me with my luggage to go upstairs I appreciated that -we need to go to the bar for check in/out so I didn’t feel comfortable with that - there is no lift/elevator to go to upper level so if you have heavy luggage or more than 1 you will suffer - it wasn’t mentioned that female dorm has 14 beds, so you can imagine how many people go in go out all the day and night - the showers and toilets are in the same place and are mixed so me as a female with hijab I need to put my hijab every time I go to the toilet or shower or just use the mirror for makeup -there is no single mirror in the rooms and those on the toilet are small just for watching yourself washing your face or doing makeup - I didn’t appreciate that male staff enter in female room every time with new comers and often without knocking on the door !!! - there is no curtains in the bed so no privacy at all and lights direct on your face - the hostel is a pub so every night people are very noisy and laughing out loud - there is a small area called kitchen but you can not cook juste microwave a medium fridge and a kettle

Solid location, a little over priced for what it is but I would stay again. It’s located inside a pub but I wasn’t able to hear any noise on above the bar.

Modern and clean. Super friendly staff. Thank you. 1. The stairs for the bunk bed is a bit dangerous. I am used to sleep on top bunk bed and no problems, but this one I had hard time coming down without the fear of falling. 2. The AC is not well temperatures. Sometimes too cold; sometimes too hot. Since the windows can not be opened, it’s not so easy for fresh air. Also as I was assigned the first upper bunk bed, the AC blow directly at me and I cooker change the angle of the AC fan.

The check in and out process is super smooth. Super clean, spacious, comfortable beds, many toilets and showers. Staff is super friendly, and the pub from downstairs is a cool place to hang out. It's a good matching ground. Thanks Turn Hostel, for helping me find my girlfriend:)
