Not clean enough, smelly toilets

First of all, this hostel was quite unusual. Every guest I met seemed confused about how to open the front door. When I arrived, I tried contacting the hostel several times, but nobody answered anywhere. Putting that aside, the check-in process itself was very confusing. I would recommend that the hostel contact guests in advance via WhatsApp to clearly explain how to get inside, as well as inform them that luggage cannot be stored before check-in time,this would have saved us a pointless trip before check-in hours. The room itself was actually nice. The beds are a bit high, but I slept well. I wasn’t bothered by street noise, although one night a drunk man was running in the hallway, which didn’t feel very comfortable, especially for female guests. Unfortunately, my issues didn’t end there. The shared bathroom was occupied, so I had to use the mixed-gender bathroom, which was so dirty it honestly traumatized me. I couldn’t even take a shower. On top of that, I got stuck inside this bathroom. If it weren’t for my friend, I might have spent the entire day locked in there. I would strongly suggest the hostel pay more attention to cleanliness and replace that lock immediately. It would also help if there was someone guests could actually reach in situations like a drunk guest in the hallway, a locked door, or cleanliness problems,someone who could fix things quickly. If we leave aside these details, I was satisfied with the room and the location. With a bit more attention to these issues, this place could be ideal.

The only bad thing is that there is not a reception nor a staff. Luckily we didn't need any help, and the information about the check in was very clear.

The location is good, the hostel is not far from the centre. There was no air conditioning. We had to open the windows but the noise from outside was unbearable. We hardly slept. The bathroom was filthy, very much like a public toilet at a bus station. It is probably the worst place I have ever stayed in.

We got a room for our group with shared kitchen and bathrooms among us and other groups. The room was actually way more spacious than it seemed, and we never had a problem with the neighbors. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, and the arrival was straightforward. Pictures in the web make it look worse than the rooms really are, so that got us doubting until we got there. I would definetely retake them.

Big rooms comfortable even for 6 people. Great kitchen where you could make coffee in the morning. Sunny balcony. AC. Bathroom situation was terrible. Tons of spillage in showers, water from previous tenants everywhere. No toiler paper - we had to buy our own.

Location close to Center. The room next door did party during night time 11pm….the room not sound proof.
