Location was amazing! Perfect location! In the heart of the city center. Newer facility, so everything was nice and newer. Our stay was unfortunately overshadowed by several significant issues, the most concerning of which was the lack of transparency regarding major construction adjacent to the hotel. At approximately 7:00 a.m. on our first morning, we were awakened by continuous jackhammering on both sides of the building. This was not minor construction noise—it echoed throughout the hotel and made normal conversation nearly impossible. During breakfast, my mother and I had to raise our voices just to hear one another. What is most disappointing is that the hotel had multiple opportunities to disclose this information. After booking, I received an email explaining that vehicles could not access the hotel and guests would need to walk approximately five minutes due to nearby conditions, yet there was no mention whatsoever of the extensive construction. Had this been disclosed, we could have made an informed decision about whether to stay elsewhere. When I asked the front desk why guests were not being informed, I was told that management instructed staff not to mention it. If accurate, this represents a deliberate lack of transparency and prevented guests from making an informed purchasing decision. The room design was also problematic. It appeared that maximizing the number of guest rooms took priority over functionality. The rooms were exceptionally small, making them impractical for more than one guest and leaving virtually no space for luggage or movement. The hallways were equally cramped, creating difficulty for both guests and housekeeping staff to pass one another. Given the room size, luggage racks should be a standard amenity. When I requested one, I was told they were unavailable because the hotel was full. This is easily preventable and should be addressed by ensuring every room is properly equipped. I was also surprised to find an open-flame candle in such a compact guest room. From both a safety and fire prevention perspective, this seemed unnecessary and concerning.

The hotel is ideally located for exploring the Old City Centre. Check-in was pleasant, and the complimentary welcome drink was a thoughtful touch. Having an on-site restaurant and breakfast included was a real bonus, and the food was consistently of a high standard. Although the room was compact, it was well presented, tastefully furnished, and the beds were very comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. The hotel has everything it needs to be a standout, but unfortunately the service from some of the staff let the overall experience down. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because breakfast was included, and we were already familiar with the restaurant. Unfortunately, the breakfast service was disappointing. We were shown to a table and given a menu, but there was little to no explanation of how the service worked. For example, it would have been helpful to know that coffee was self-service. On the first morning my breakfast order was incorrect, but no one returned to the table to check if everything was satisfactory or ask if we needed anything else. On the second morning, part of my order never arrived. Again, after the initial order was taken, no staff checked on us. Eventually, I approached the staff, who were chatting, leaning on the bar, and completing other tasks rather than attending to guests. A staff member advised that the missing item was on its way, but after waiting longer it still never arrived. There were only two occupied tables in the restaurant, and the other table had already received their full order. In the end, we left without receiving part of our breakfast, and no one appeared concerned that we were leaving dissatisfied. On our second evening, despite being hotel guests, we were required to go online and book a table for dinner. While I understand the need to manage reservations and reduce no-shows, I would have like a more convenient option for in-house guests. Even allowing reception or the restaurant to make the booking, or charging a no-show fee to the room if required, would have provided a much better guest experience.

loud music from the restaurant after 21:00 bother us sometimes. Also renovation from next door building made some noise, but not too much.

THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT WITH PARKING AT WALKING DISTANCE; THE STAFF OUTSTANDING WITH A GREAT BREAKFAST MENU THE HOTEL RESTAURANT PROXIMITY TO THE RECEPTION AND A POOR EXHAUSTION SYSTEM LED TO A VERY STRONG FOOD SMELL ACROSS THE HOTEL; WE WERE IN THE SECOND FLOOR AND COULD NOTICE THE STRONG SCENT OF GRILLED SEAFOOD BEING PREPARED

Great location. Close to restaurants, bus to Bled, attractions. Friendly staff. Great breakfast options. Nothing

Well maintained hotel strategically located in the middle of the old Town of Ljubljana. We easily walked to all of the sites and restaurants nearby. The rooms were typical hotel rooms, clean and comfortable. There was an elevator, which many properties do not have. We included breakfast with our room rate, which was in the hotel restaurant. An ample selection of entrees was available, which you ordered from their menu. Service was good. Check in and out was efficient. Also provided complimentary glass of champagne upon check in, which was a nice touch. This is not a negative. However, one should understand the hotel is in the pedestrian only area of old town. This means that transport services will drop you off at a designated square, which is short 10 minute walk to the hotel. This was not a problem for us, and also transportation like Go Opti is familiar with this area and were available at the square for our pickup and transport.

Central location in pedestrian zone. The staff was very helpful! Room was very small. Almost impossible to shower without flooding the bathroom floor. Very slippery tub with no non.skid mat. Hard to manage for elderly

Location and clean. Maid service was excellent. Outrageously over priced. Disorganized front desk. Screwed up our reservation (booking.com or hotel) and no help solving problem, made it ours. Should have been a discount due to construction jack hammering. Web site said free parking but had to pay 30 euro to reserve a spot (scam). Doubt I’ll ever stay here again!

The location was fabulous, food was amazing, staff was nice, bed comfy, super quiet! Pretty small room and bathroom but honestly there aren't many in this city and we'd choose this again.
-
Location and great breakfast Smallest room I have ever stayed in any hotel. We had 2 luggage and could eañk inside. No window and so small you felt being inside a cardboard box. Construction going on next door all day and started at 7am.
-
The proximity to the river. I was welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine. The bed was comfortable. The parking was confusing, but it worked out in the end.

Location was great and the staff were very nice .

This hotel is central with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful, with offering dinner recommendations, helping us schedule takeaway breakfast due to an early departure and greeting us with a glass of champagne. Highly recommend booking here.
