Laundry service, luggage storage, clean, free towels, big lockers, great location Wish the bunk beds had curtains for more privacy and were a little less squeaky

A great hostel to stay in Ljubljana, it was very clean and central, would definitely recommend it. It isnt a very social hostel if thats what you are looking for.

The hostel was very clean, the dorm with AC was great and wifi was excellent. I loved the location. It was the best hostel I stayed at in Slovenia. Would agree with others there isn’t a space that facilitates social engagement, but my room mates were great! Adding curtains to the bunks would make a huge difference for privacy.

Great staff and really quaint place to relax and enjoy a solo travel Bathrooms were weird but not bad, better than most hostels

It was clean, and the air conditioning was great during the heat wave. The location was very convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful and gave us great advice on where to park our car. The kitchen is very small and is a parsley outfitted; I think you would be hard pressed to make anything more involved than instant Ramen.

Absolute bargain and location was perfect. Nothing.

The location is excellent. The staff is exceptional, extremely friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are always fully stocked with toilet paper, paper towels and soap. There is no place to comfortably change clothes ... the shower stalls are too small and the floor is wet, and the toilet stalls have no hooks. There is no dining area.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and close to sites and resturants. Happy with is as it is.

They do not do any activities or provide breakfast so it's difficult for people to meet and interact

Really good stay. The bathrooms are clean, the shower is good. The room in a 6-bed is quite large, the staff are very friendly. And they have lockers in the room as well free of charge. You could also get a towel from the reception free of charge. And in the reception desk, they have candies, which definitely lighten my mood and travel tiredness: this is a very warm and kind gesture from the hostel, really appreciate their kindness and hospitality. I don’t think I have things I don’t like. Because with the many hostels I stayed, this one was by far the one that exceeded my expectations. If I really have to say one thing, I feel that the shower space was a bit small, yet they also kindly provided chairs for you to put your clothes, this is a very considerate thing for them to do, because not so much hostels have thought of that. And I don’t really mind that the shower is a smaller shower space.

AdHoc Hostel’s location, security, and cleanliness make this the perfect value that I expected in the Old Town area underneath the castle. When I arrived early, the always friendly host allowed me to check in an hour early even though I was perfectly fine inside their front lounge; on another day, you would probably choose to sit outside along the riverwalk just steps away. As I got to my room early, I was greeted by the smell of cleaning ammonia that I really hadn’t smelled in any of my previous hostels. Then, I realized that was a GREAT thing because it shows how much they clean this place in between the check-out and check-in times. (That also made me question how often they disinfected the bathrooms at all my earlier hostels). Bathrooms were spotless (although if they added one extra hook in the shower stalls beside the one and the stool there, that would be ideal.) The room lockers were fine, but anyone accustomed to shoving their full backpacks inside will discover they won’t fit since the locker is divided into 3-4 compartments, so you may just need to unpack your whole backpack to make it fit like I did. AdHoc had the first kitchen microwave that I have gotten to use in a hostel my whole trip. Finally, while walking around Ljubljana, whenever I felt the urge to use the bathroom, it was so easy because I knew I was usually just 10 minutes away most from the hostel!

Staff were friendly and very helpful, even carried my suitcase up the stairs for me. Not applicable

I was unable to go due to an unforeseen emergency and told the hostel. They responded in a professional manner but did nothing to compensate me. I even asked to take a fee as I understand the business aspect. All of my accommodation expenses were taken and i was not even credited, partially charged, or received a credit with booking. Their definition of “understanding” is flawed. No understanding or compromise. Strict and uncaring.

I liked the common areas, they were spacious and appropriate. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms had plenty of space too :) staff was great too and the location of the hostel was right in the middle of old town
