Excellent location for Llangollen Pavilion (10 minute walk). Great dinner and breakfast and staff were really friendly. The band I went to see at the Pavillion!!

Breakfast was amazing. Charlotte is an absolute star!
-
Exactly what I was hoping for ... small, traditional inn, very personal service.
-
just to be mindful of the flights of stairs for accommodation these are pretty steep for anyone with mobility issues
-
Recently refurbished bar and dining area - friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Scuffed walls and doors leading to the accommodation showed a lack of care. Clientele were mainly locals, including people smoking outside on the pavement.

The staff, the chef ...everyone was very accommodating! I was so thankful for a safe comfortable place to stay. The comfy beds, the food, and kindness
-
No car park or even drop off. Wifi wasn't working, there was a pile of mud under the bed that migrated across the hard flooring. The cups were rarely clean.

Great for us, going on the steran train.

Everything. The whole stay experience was 5 star Nothing. A perfect stay

Room, ensuite, Breakfast, bar area all great. Jess at Breakfast was amazing and so accommodating. I had to go out early so wasn’t able to have breakfast. She was able to provide me with a hot sandwich when I got back. It seemed nothing was too much trouble.

I didn't find anything to dislike. ?

The staff were friendly and welcoming. We ate at the pub on three different occasions. All very good experiences. The rooms are all newly updated, clean and comfy beds. We had a room to the back of the hotel. It wasn’t the best view and very small for the expensive Saturday night price, but quiet. The breakfast was a hit or miss. On the first day all good. The second day not so good. Eggs were not cooked enough. It seemed as if the cook was rushed to get the food out. And the poor lady that was running the whole thing out front was running back and forth trying to please everyone, but many things at the breakfast buffet needed to be replenished, like coffee and orange juice. It’s too bad they don’t offer the breakfast for a longer period of time. It’s only offered for one hour and everyone comes down at practically the same time. You end up waiting anyhow and the whole thing isn’t finished in that one hour time period.

Nice clean sized comfortable room. We had a view to the river which was lovely. The breakfast was good. Staff all friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was also nice. It had a good variety of pub style food. A main crossing is just in front of the hotel, so it can get noisy from time to time with the traffic and people below. This can be overlooked though since the view to the river is so stunning.

The location was PERFECT and could not be better. Jason and Denise were SO friendly and welcoming. Beautiful hot brekky included. Great view of the river. Newly renovated rooms. Parking an easy couple of blocks away. Absolutely nothing to moan about :-D NOTHING not to like for us; however, please note for those who have difficulty with stairs, there is no lift. (I have found this a common trait of old pubs/buildings.)

Great location clean comfortable room No parking not enough breakfast choice no porridge granola pancakes or the like luckily the coffee machine was switched on so my husband could make me a good cup of coffee as opposed too cold premade vile filter coffee with cold milk

Recently refurbished beautifully - great location - wonderful staff

Clean. Good location. Price was good. Room was very small. To book two weekends ahead the price was £52.50 per night extra. 15% discount was advertised, but couldn't be applied for some reason.
-
Excellent location, hotel was very clean in restaurant area and in bedroom, adequate facilities in room. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent lunch time and at breakfast, service was spot on. Only thing we didn't like was there was no parking for guests at hotel had to use public car park, which was situated just up the road from hotel but prefer on site parking.

Friendly and clean No on-site parking
