Luxury in the heart of London, worth the extra for the upgraded room
-
Excellent location, quiet but easy access. Friendly staff, good size room, good AC in room. Residences Bar, not good bar closed at 11pm in London. USB to both sides of the bed.
-
Cleaning Service Location Window faces service stairs with no view, just an ugly wall. Good restaurant, but it lacks an understanding of 5-star service standards, such as providing a wet wipe after eating a burger.

Location. The staff and rooms are not set up for business travelers. Prepare to be frustrated. After arriving on a redeye from Los Angeles, I arrived at the hotel at 11:30a. No rooms were available, which is to be expected, as guaranteed check in time is 3p. Nevertheless I wanted to drop my bags and freshen up my suit before heading to meetings. Alas, the check in floor bathroom has no power to plug in the steamer I brought. Zero outlets. The staff made a hullabaloo about this and couldn’t figure out any other way to let me use an outlet than to bring me down two flights of stairs to a meeting room, and chaperone me. Literally had to plug my steamer in under a board room table. I couldn’t change because she was standing right next to me the whole time and would not leave. Super weird. They said “your room is on the priority list and we will call you as soon as it is available.” I received no calls. At 3pm I called them and asked if my room was ready. “No your room isn’t ready.” I said excuse me, I have been waiting since 11:30a, no rooms have become available since then? The man said “yes they have become available but others were here waiting.” So, don’t expect your room unless you are sitting in their small check in area staring at them. The next day, my first meeting was at 11am and the office is a brisk 8 minute walk from the hotel. At 10:15a I called down for a clothes steamer. The front desk says “yes we will send an iron and ironing board” and I’m like, no a clothes steamer. They say we don’t have one, and I’m like yes you do, I used yours yesterday. “Oh ok.” Fifteen minutes go by, no clothes steamer. This is a 3 floor hotel, and a total of 60 rooms, so not that big. I call down again - “oh it’s not there?” - no, please bring it. It’s 10:30. I’m getting ready and realize I don’t see a hair dryer. I call down and ask where they put them - she says look in each of the drawers in the bed side table.

Exceptional! Beautiful hotel in the heart of London, we appreciated the attentive and friendly staff (Lesly was exceptionally kind to us, thank you!), the beautiful interior design and room, clean, comfortable beds, definitely our first choice when we return to London! The bathroom could use a better shower screen because the floor can get quite flooded after usage

Wonderful stay and staff Very friendly and kind 100% recommended We will come back

Rooms allocated to booking.com seem to be poorer than if you book directly I think. Hotel is in a fantastic location and staff could not be more accommodating and helpful. Room allocation right behind fire escape with air con units directly below and air conditioning was not as quiet as I would have liked and set to on all the time which was a pain.

It doesn’t look as nice as on the pictures, but because of the manager, she helped us a lot The room was very expensive and very small

Atmosphere and location No rosé wine in the bar by the glass
-
We were dining at the RAC so this hotel was perfectly placed for that. Close to green park tube as well. The bar was a little bit slow. That’s all.
