It was spotless, the staff were generally helpful and courteous There was one doorman that was rude. Unfortunately, I didn’t get his name, but he was there in the afternoons and a bit younger than the other ones. (NOT the young one with black hair - he was great) The one I am referring to, to whom I directed a couple of direction questions was passive aggressive in his responses- very irritating!

Loved the big comfortable bed, penhaligons toiletries and coffee making facilities Service at breakfast was slow and seemed a bit chaotic. Check in was slow and there were big queues at check out with only two people on the desk. Having paid upfront for my stay I didn’t like the additional service charges being added to my bill on check out

Staying at the Stafford is a wonderful experience. The staff goes out of their way to always greet you and make sure you are absolutely comfortable. Our room was lovely and a very nice size. We had a lot of luggage and didn't want to be tripping over it but this definitely wasn't the case. Lots of room, beautiful bath with large shower and separate tub. The bed was very comfortable. It's very close to St. James Ct., Buckingham Palace, etc so we could easily walk to many sites. The Green Park tube station is also very close. There is a very nice restaurant and bar (with a large outdoor area) as well as beautiful sitting areas near the lobby. This hotel was an amazing find for us. Loved staying here! Nothing!

The hotel felt very luxurious and opulent without being too “stuffy” - the staff were without exception, brilliant. We enjoyed learning about the history of the building, including the wine cellar. There was nothing we didn’t like. We liked everything !

Excellent atmosphere all throughout the property. Keep the theme in the bar, but lose all those tacky dusty hats on the ceiling …..does not suit the class of the hotel. It’s the type of thing you would find in an american roadhouse whose time has passed.

Quiet location despite construction around. Unbeatable service. Poor responses and continuity of communication on booking prior to arrival. Could have offered a complimentary beverage to guests that had to be evacuated for a fire.

Brilliantly located. Quality. Nothing
