Good location Breakfast

Excellent central location for our long weekend in London. Facilities spotless. Rooms perfect for our family of 5. Having breakfast included was great and friendly staff ensured all foods were topped up. Breakfast simple but perfect and good choice for all palates! Nothing I did not like.

Nothing I would not recommend this hotel. Our stay at Brunel Hotel was very disappointing. We stayed for 7 days, and despite reporting a cockroach problem to the staff, the issue was never properly resolved. There were still cockroaches in the room until the day we checked out. The room had no air conditioning, which made it extremely uncomfortable, especially with five people staying in one room. The television did not work at all, and the shower had very poor water pressure. Elevator stuck everyday!! Overall, the facilities were outdated, maintenance was poor, and the experience was far below what we expected. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had in London.

Room was too small

Nice breakfast, location is very good, walk away from Buckingham palace, food places just around a corner. Check in was quick. Shower pressure was quite low and our room was just by the elevator. Once the breakfast time started, it was hard to sleep.

Very close to train station . Great breakfast . The room was very tight had a hard time getting the suitcases in .

Very good

It is located in a nice area where near to public transportations. The breakfast was average and had a limited variety. The room size was extremely small. We barely fit into the room and couldn't be even properly able to open our suitcases.

Great location, helpful staff, simple but tasty breakfast Breakfast room fills up very quickly so there was a bit of a wait in the morning to eat

Location Small rooms; rude male front desk officer

This hotel exceeded my expectations given the price and location. The building is old and rooms small but this is to be expected at this budget level.in central London. Breakfast is basic but fresh and plentiful. Staff are polite, attentive and efficient. One minor problem was rectified immediately. Room was clean and tidy. Crisp clean bedding and towels plenty of hot water. Cool.box and fan on room. Excellent animated location near Paddington station/tube with plenty of nearby groceries, souvenir shops and eateries. Room was stuffy despite open window and fan but maybe it was due to hottest May days ever recorded in London. Suggest an upgraded fan. Breakfast room on the small side but ok if peak times avoided.

Beds were very comfortable and superb location, staff were very helpful and friendly, paddington station is a 5 min walk and puts everything in London within reach easily. Breakfast was poor, cold with very little options,A/C was broken,on the last morning we found a dying cockroach outside the bathroom.although room was very clean and tidy so im sure its hardly an infestation, but a little off putting, not sure how id have reacted if id found it on the first day!

Close to Paddington station. Very noisy late at night. Close to a busy urban street. Hotel should not promise something they are not willing to provide. We asked for a room with a view. They answered "We're happy to let you know that the property has confirmed they can arrange this for you. There will be no extra charge for this request." They gave us a basement room with a view of a wall just outside the window. Now, they will probably make some excuse about how they were full, and this was the only room left. But an excuse is a poor substitute for a meaningless offer to provide a room with a view. ALSO, we have noticed all of our booking.com lodgings in the last two years were the least desirable rooms at the hotel. This is probably the last time we will use booking.com.

Convenient to Paddington Station. A decent breakfast. An accommodating staff. Room is small. Luggage fit under the bed.

The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean and quiet even though improvements were scheduled while staying. They were discrete. The breakfasts were very good. The value of our stay was excellent. Great location Nothing i disliked.
