Melia White House Apartments

Fancy lobby, shit overpriced rooms, not sure why it was almost 300 a night. Rooms look decades old, including carpet and smell. Advertised as with a/c but barely has any air coming out of it. Kitchenette was just serviceable, plumbing bad (bathtub kept backing up, staff was kind enough to offer a discount).

Cracking loose tiles in bathroom. Furniture shabby. Stafg very good. Restaurant overpriced.

Location was great and conveniently located by the tube station, bus stops, grocery shops, restaurants, etc. Room was spacious. Decor and furniture was very dated. The carpets had permanent stains on them, and are long overdue to be replaced. We had family staying in the Hotel side of Melia and their rooms were way nicer, looked newly renovated & had modern furniture.

The location was good. It was a good value just a little outside of busier areas of London but super easy for transit. We liked the apartment size so we weren’t tripping over our luggage. A/C (when left alone and kept on) was nice. We enjoyed the bar and lounge. Staff in the lobby were extremely kind and assisted with luggage. Awkward bathroom design and outdated/chipped floor. We like to keep staff out of our room during our stay and that proved difficult. Elevator system got annoying because it would only call A during certain times of the day and it created crowds.

Good location very nice public rooms and staff: has nice hotel rooms and sub standard studio apartments in same building with shared reception and staff. The studio apartments are tiny, poorly furnished and uncomfortable. The kitchens lack basic items such as paper or cloth towels. Worth no more than two stars while hotel is four stars

Nice and close to the park I couldn’t get clean sheets being there a week and towels and I asked 3 times. Food was left in the fridge over a month old,

Fantastic location, just across the street from a tube station. The staff were very friendly and the room was exactly as advertised. There was persistently trash in front of the apartments: a broken shelf, a broken ironing board, and literal trash. The key card had to be "recharged" every night to function. The staff explained this was to be expected, but it meant I had wait in line every evening after working to get the encoding for my room renewed. I was also told this same key would get me access to the gym, but it did not. I had to wait in line in my work out clothes to get a special gym access card. My apartment wasn't ready when it should have been and I had to wait for several hours.

The staff was very friendly and helpful Cleaning is only twice a week

The location of the hotel was good, close to Regents Park and underground. I booked two rooms for me and my family, they gave us rooms on different floors despite my earlier request as well the rooms were old and dirty. There was no cooling in the room and we were suffocating in the night, and upon complaint the hotel manager told us to refund us three nights due to some problem with their AC system and they never refunded anything yet. Poor experience for a highly paid property. Never again,

Location is very good

amazing location in the heart. nice hotel, porters, high class everywhere basket of fruit bought to room. nice bar and restaurant with plenty more in the area. fast free wifi. room could have been cleaner-bathroom and kitchenette. i had an apartment and had to call down for some missing things like a spoon, a cloth to clean, microwave table didnt turn. Not a big deal but seemed out of place with the standard of everything else in the hotel. These are minor details, and not really a big deal

Great location good service. Very pleasant and helpful staff Comfortable. But apartment very small Apartment was tiny. Hard to cook in kitchen. Ok for cup of tea and toast
