The neighborhood is great, the Underground is right next door, the hotel is very beautiful with traditional English charm, the room was spacious and clean, and the staff were very pleasant. The wait at breakfast is very long… There is no one around if you need anything, so you have to wait. I think the waiter is on his own handling both room service and the downstairs dining room. The bread is not very good, but otherwise the rest is fine. You should leave carafes of coffee and hot water/tea on the tables instead of empty decorative ones, so guests can help themselves. With at least some fresh bread and pastries available, it would make the whole breakfast service much smoother.

Outstanding welcome and incredible staff from front desk / managers and to all the house keepers and waiting staff and luggage staff. Excellent service by all. No dislikes what so ever. The hotel is stunning.

Wine glasses were not removed from room after visit from staff. Coffee cups etc not cleaned after first night. Not enough milk. The whole place looked a bit worn and tired. No top ups for coffee/tea at breakfast.

Balcony and Bath amazing. The room spacious and beautiful, slept very well. Bathroom a little small and a few niggles that they fixed (Safe didn't work, bath didn't drain, aircon didn't work etc)

Sumptuous vibe, the staff were informed that this was our honeymoon, no reaction to this. Our room had a smell of urine, the coffee table had brass banding which was sharp and coming away. We were next to some sort of heat pump or similar it came on and off all of our stay. The decor was tired, chipped, dented and banged about. Along the side of the bath panel was black mould/dirt.
