I checked in and immediately checked out. This hotel is diabolical. Under no circumstances would I ever return or recommend to anyone. The hotel is in a fantastic location but is utterly dated and filthy. Everything is stained and tired. Even the fresh towels were stained. The mattress old and dirty. The decorative scatter cushions old tired and dirty the seat in the room stained so badly it was embarrassing. The desk in the room tired scratch and needs to be thrown out the entire place feels filthy. I asked reception to Check the room and they told me it was acceptable. I travel constantly I stay in hotels weekly. This was perhaps my worst experience. The receiptiom staff are also hostile. Save yourself a headache and avoid at all Costs. Everything.

Bedroom was fantastic - had great space and everything you could need, lovely outlook over Sloane Square and the staff were the best I have come across in a while. The lady who checked me out was so lovely and all of the people I encountered made sure to go out of their way to greet my Westie that I had with me. They couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating. Loved everything about our stay.

On booking about a week Prior to checking in, I made contact with the hotel to inform them that I was be having facial surgery locally to the hotel and would overnight with them. I asked if I could be saved the embarrassment of a long check in on arrival. And so I arrived bandaged and in pain to the reception desk. The gent who was checking me in did his absolute most to shame me and delay me in front of a rather busy room of people. Asking me to wait to the side while he confirmed my request???? Why??? After what felt like an eternity his colleague came to my rescue and hurried him up and she showed me to the room. This lady did offer her apology for his behaviour , I was absolutely so embarrassed and furious at how I had been treated. On checking out at 6am I did speak to the night manager and I was assured that my issue would be relayed to the manager. I didn’t receive any correspondence so when asked by booking.com to review I will review honestly.

Location. The worst bed on room 227. Door of the bathroom didn’t close. The mirror was not well cleaned. The housekeeping staff charges her phones with our cables. The shower is old and ceiling had holes on it.
