Loved the location and such a short walking distance to the tube and plenty of restaurants and parks. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the rooms were even when there’s a bar and live music venue downstairs. 10/10 will be back

The Bedford at Balham was a lovely stay. We absolutely loved the style/decor of the rooms - it lived up to the photos that are posted online. The building, at least our room was located above where the above ground train passed by and it does pass quite often, we were initially concerned that this would disturb our sleep. My husband is quite a light sleeper - we BARELY heard the train when it passed by which was so impressive, they really thought through the sound proofing well. Finally, messaging the property was so convenient. We needed a quick breakfast suggestion in the morning and they replied so quickly. Honestly, cannot think of any downsides here.

The value for money rate is very high cause the room are clean and spacious; really like the bathroom that is fully equipped. It may be a bit noisy but I assume that people are well aware were they are booking that is a live pub. In general very nice and lovely experience; already stayed here twice.

We had a clean, comfortable room. The location is excellent, perfect for getting into the centre of London and although very near a busy railway line, it was remarkably quiet. The offer on food is n the pub was really welcome too.

Super place to stay and discover ....
-
Great location, the bar and food were nice
-
Breakfast not available. All staff encountered were pleasant, polite and helpful. Some parts of the venue were tired and care warn - refurbishment would be a good idea.

Too noisy and too hot… air on not working

Nice decoration. Good variety of food and drink. Staff not overly helpful to hotel guests versus pub guests. Arrived at 14:55 told we couldn’t check in until 15:00. Waits till 16:30 to actually complete check-in and get key. Rooms were not “hotel clean” tiles in the bathroom. Breakfast was very very slow, food was cold, portions very small.
