Close enough to be near transport and other things we needed but far enough not to be in the hustle and bustle. Reasonably priced for a night stay and breakfast without having to break the bank. Comfortable mattresses. Friendly staff Dated and grubby decor and furnishings, I wondered if the bunk bed was going to collapse in the middle of the night. Stained carpets all the way up the stairs and fire doors wedged open the entire time we were there. Bathroom door latch faulty and required force to open. Water pressure was poor in the bathroom. Arranged for gluten free breakfast for 2 people with coeliac disease in our party but this had not been passed on and the staff available at breakfast had no idea if food was gluten free or cooked safely for a person with coeliac disease. No offer to bring fresh food instead of a buffet, which could have been cross contaminated, and apart from separate bread nothing else was provided specifically gluten free (not even sausages which are widely available).

Staff was great. Sunday carvery excellent. Room was very hot but in all fairness it was in the middle of a heatwave. Portable air conditioner would have been nice.

Although it was a long trek from Euston it was good value for money, beds super comfortable and breakfast excellent There wasn't anything to dislike

This was our second stay. The pub is so lovely. Friendly and helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms and nice location. Brilliant value for money especially in London. The only problem is the stairs upto the rooms but it has to be expected for an old building.

Great option for somewhere to stay for a gig, took longer than we thought to get because of traffic, but great price and so handy, loved it Hot in the room, but had a fan and was grand, great for the price
