Surprised by the low rating because this is a standout hotel especially for the price and location. AC powerful and actually cold. Comfy beds, slept great. Gorgeous renovation, sparkling clean, kind and helpful staff, great hospitality, a fantastic choice for a stay close to Kings Cross/St Pancras. Photos aren't doing it justice at all. Bath products nice. Yes, it's cosy, but that's central London. You could pay £100+/night more in the vicinity and do a lot worse. Book with confidence! Minor bit: Wasn't possible to turn off overhead lights while keeping mood lighting and lamps on.

Our room was very small with one side of the bed against the wall so the person on the inside had to climb over the other person in the bed to get out. The so called window opened a crack and was totally blacked out… no window at all. The room is fit for one person only and then if that person doesn’t care about a window.it should be heavily discounted.
