The location met our needs. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The coffee and tea in the room were nice. The lift and corridors were very dark The breakfast/meeting/bar room wasn't great - there was no where comfortable to sit in the whole of the hotel unless you were happy to sit on your bed. The rooms were tiny and we felt they were cheaply decorated - for instance the toilet seat wasn't soft closing and we know they can be bought for less than £5 each. The shower power was poor making it difficult to wash my hair.

Fortunately, we got upgraded to a room on the 7th floor with a window. At the time of booking, I didn’t realise I was booking a windowless room until the booking confirmation came through & I’d paid in full. Very much appreciated the friendly staff and being upgraded.

Location. Quiet. Helpful staff. Modern. Dimming lights. Large TV. Excellent bed! ! (I always get back and neck pain in other hotels because their mattresses sag. But this mattress was great, just firm enough, no pain!)
