Wilde Aparthotels, London, Paddington

We stayed here with my wife and our 13-year-old son. We booked a 22 m² room,the kitchen equipment and the bathroom were well-designed and very practical, which made our stay more comfortable. The location is excellent — you can reach most places within 15–20 minutes, either by bus or just 3–4 stops on the Tube. Overall, a convenient option thanks to its great location. Storage space was quite limited, especially the wardrobe.

The location is very close to Paddington Rail Station. There is a nearby Marks and Spencer’s which makes it convenient to buy groceries. Metro stations are a short walk away. The room had a great view of the boat basin and was quiet. Beds were comfortable. It is not the fault of Wilde, but there is some construction work going on in the Paddington area, so it takes a few extra minutes to walk from the Rail Station to the apartment. This is probably a short term issue…just check things on Google Maps, or ask the friendly reception staff at the apartment.

Rooms are well laid out to have what you need in a very compact space. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well set up. Location is very convenient. My room was not ready when it should have been and I had to wait 30 minutes. The property gave me a basket of fruit as compensation. Gym could be better. It's small and doesn't have a lot of options.

Great location near bus and train stations. Quiet overall and very clean. The room was just the right size for us and it was nice having our own bedroom. No phones to call customer service. It was all handled through WhatsApp which is a pro and con. Pro since less friction but con is it sounded like an ai agent was responding. We did get towels and bedding when requested in a timely manner but when we had one issue with the pillows, the agent responded but no one ever came to our room.

The room was impeccably clean. The studio space is very well designed and perfect for one person (or two people without a lot of luggage). Lots of storage options, such as drawers under the bed to store your suitcase. Excellent kitchenette with everything you need to prepare a meal. Shower had great water pressure, which is so rare! And the bed was very comfortable and cozy. There were also nice little touches like remote controlled blackout curtains, complimentary beverages, and a welcome card. Not much, to be honest. The studio doesn’t have a proper closet and there are only a few hangers for hanging longer garments and the space is small. This was fine for me because I was staying at the end of my trip before flying out, so didn’t have anything to hang. This might be more of a challenge if you have multiple garments that need to be hung up for meetings/events.

Though pricey, rooms were spacious, modern, well-lit and had all good facilities in the kitchenette. Would definitely prefer this hotel for future travel. The washer and dryer in the laundry were not working properly which was frustrating but otherwise happy with the property.

Fantastic location. Comfortable rooms. All facilities available in house Housekeeping only once a week is not enough. AC is not very effective

Staff was helpful with manual checkin and luggage. The little kitchen area with the electric stove and fridge are very good and functional. There was a false fire alarm triggered during one of our stay and no announcement or clarification. The check-in kiosk could not locate our reservation (3 separate rooms) and the staff had to search it up on his device. Lack of instructions on using the self checkin process. My kids and I were not put on the same floor even though I had requested in advance to have 2 rooms close by. The sofa bed was not setup, I had to set it up myself. There were no extra linens in the room and I had to request to get pillow and linens for a 3rd person setup in the room even though we had paid extra already. The sink is very shallow and narrow; therefore, every time you wash something, water splashes out and wet the counter. No cloth or paper towel supplied to soak up the area.

The location saw nd area was great. Lots of shops and restaurants. Close to subway and train station. Would stay again. The room was fairly small for 3 people

Our room had a very good view of the city. The location is perfect as it is a 10 minute walk from Paddington train station. The cleanliness is also good. The staff are all friendly and helpful especially Masoud who is very generous and kind and offered us a generous gift the very last day we were in the hotel. He also gave us a great favor during our last year's stay. There is always someone to look after your requests. The studios are ideal for two guests. However it was ok for the three of us ( a couple and a child).

I was so disappointed with this place. I picked this hotel because the location seemed great and I really needed a kitchenette, but looking back, the location is literally the only good thing about it. The room was honestly a joke; it felt more like a tiny storage closet than an actual room. Even though there’s a kitchen, there is nowhere to actually eat. The "table" is tiny and super low; you can’t even fit two people around it for a decent meal. Also, forget about unpacked clothes. There's no wardrobe, just some awkward pull-out drawers under the bed. Super inconvenient. And the hygiene? Gross. I moved the curtains and a massive cloud of dust flew up. It clearly hasn’t been cleaned properly in ages. We were supposed to stay here again on our way back from Edinburgh, but there was no way I was doing that. I cancelled our second stay immediately and found a much better spot. Save your money and go somewhere else!

Great micro apartment, perfect for two people. It had everything we needed and the staff were incredibly friendly. It was small for four people.

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, yet it’s close to the tube station. There is an M&S food and a Tesco near by. Halal restaurants and supermarkets are just 10 minutes walk. Kitchenette has all the essentials. Staff are friendly. Having to pay to use the washing machines (it’s £7 per load/wash).

Loved the room size, staff courtesy and modern facilities in the room. The lighting in the hallways could be better but not a big deal.

When staying at here. It is more like an apartment home. They only clean the room every 4 days. And if you're staying more than that, it's every 7 days. Thereafter, that was not the problem. The only thing is, if you are not getting to room cleaning service on a daily basis.There should be some cleaning supplies in the room to make it more homey there.So therefore you can keep up on that cleanliness of the room, such as a broom dust pan and or cleaning supplies to wipe down counters tops and bathrooms with. Other than that, I have no complaints.The staff was great.The room was great would stay again and would recommend.

Clean, modern room. We had a nice view. Nice to have small kitchen and fridge with utensils,plates, appliances, etc. Room was fairly spacious for a London hotel. A slightly further walk from Paddington station than I had originally thought. Still very close though.

We were looking for a hotel that was close to Paddington Station and Wilde was less than a ten minute walk away. Although it is located on a busy street, there is a quiet area behind the hotel with shops and restaurants. Worked well for our one day stop in London before taking the Elizabeth line back to the airport, but would have been uncomfortable for a longer stay as rooms are pretty small for two adults with luggage.
