female receptionist was exceptionally kind by lending me a phone charger -- it was a huge relief as I'd forgotten mine. the window area needed a bit of attention - curtains looked a bit tired.

Location LGF 4 had very little natural daylight

1. Excessive heat with no functioning ventilation. While it was around 20°C outside, the room was well above 30°C. The only cooling provided was a fan that was extremely loud yet did nothing to lower the temperature. 2. A window that was screwed shut. When we asked for help airing the room, a member of staff arrived with a cordless power screwdriver and explained that the windows are deliberately screwed closed because they "don't hold" — which is why the window could not be opened. Aside from making the heat impossible to manage, a guest-room window that is screwed shut is a serious ventilation and fire-safety concern. 3. Poor and evasive service. When we asked the simple question of whether the tap water was safe to drink, staff would only answer "it's up to you" rather than give a clear response — which, in central London, should be a straightforward yes.

Everything is fine but the curtains in the rooms are very short and the morning sun is reflected and a little uncomfortable but otherwise everything is very clean

Bathroom was nice Room too hot
-
Location was perfect, reception staff were very friendly and the bathroom looked quite new except there wasn’t a mirror which makes shaving a bit difficult Room was very hot, bed and pillows uncomfortable, television was around 10-15 years old so the picture and sound quality was very poor and the curtains were not fitted properly making it difficult to keep the light out

The bathroom fittings seem quite new and the shower had good heat and pressure. Room was clean. Needs modernising, broken hair dryer, noisy room facing a busy road, limited plug sockets. unclear communication from staff on late check out.

Great as a no-frills one-night stay for Brixton Academy gig-goers. Clean, reasonably priced. Close to stations (Northern Line) and great pub and breakfast options across the road. Nothing

Easy access to public transit.

Price was amazing for location and quality. Room Was too hot and windows opened fully (no safety locks and we were on the ground floor) so couldn’t leave them open at night. There was a fan in the room though.

Excellent location and reliable and friendly staff Main street too noisy
-
Nice room , location ( easy access to the underground & shops Overall the location was very good, but the room overlooked the main street, so I couldn't sleep. Small fridge could be helpful.
