Merit Kensington Hotel

Good size for a night or two - large bed, amenities well considered. Very clean and lots of toiletries provided. A little further out, but this meant it was quiet. Also very close to Earl's Court so it's easy to get into central.

Very modern looking, close to subway station and other local amenities. Rooms were nicely renovated. Staff were nice and they allowed us to leave our luggage before check in and after check out. Good size bed with plenty of plug sockets. Room had a nice space for leaving our luggage. I would have preferred more control over the aircon and the room was a little loud with it being next to the elevator. Also, we could hear lots of flushing noises from the outside window, but we slept ok regardless

Prominent location, 1 minute walk to the tube, very clean, we asked for a twin room which was provided. Quite small room for 2 people, staff wasn't that interested in any conversation however explained everything what we needed

the location was nice, it was a victorian building which had good vibes and atmosphere the rooms were unfortunately a bit small, but due to the nature of the building it is expected. it was exactly the same as advertised, and we didn't spend much time in the room during the day so it wasn't a big problem.

positive side, the lady at reception was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was simple but quite good, and the restaurant was clean. The location is excellent, with the metro nearby, and the neighborhood is great. Overall, the location and service were good, but the hotel really needs some renovation. For the price, I expected much more. Very disappointing for the price The room was really small, especially considering the price I paid. It honestly felt like a waste of money. Everything looked old and some things were broken, which was very disappointing.

Front desk very friendly and helpful. Check in and out was very efficient. Room was modern and comfy. Nice toiletries in bathroom. Fridge in room with water which was very welcomed in this heat. Room wasn’t cleaned very well. Bathroom had long hairs left in shower. Wardrobe was dusty, which got on our clothes. The remote was furry with dust. There were limited apps on the TV (only YouTube) and no way to cast to the tv which for a 4 star hotel was a little disappointing.

Nice location next to underground. Room was nice and bed was comfy Went during a bit of a heatwave, it had ac but didnt work too well. They give u little amenities including soap so if you open one to wash ur hands the next morning its replaced by a new one. Works great for shampoos etc but would prefer a permanent soap.

Great size room which was well furnished. Comfortable beds. Easily accessible from the nearby tube station. Will stay here again next time I'm in the city.
