Location Very small, no ventilation, rooms were very hot

Well it’s unfortunate that I was there during the most extreme heat wave in London and they didn’t have AC. But neither did most properties in London so that’s not their problem.

As a vegan, the breakfast isn't great. Because there are many people, it tends to get a little dirty.

As a vegan, the breakfast is not great. It was also very hot and there is only a fan.

My friends and I stayed in a triple room and really appreciated the location. For staying right in Soho, super close to Oxford Circus and with lots to do in the area, you really can't beat the price. For the location we also found it to be very quiet. The kitchen and dining area was very nice (especially appreciated the AC) and the staff were all friendly. The triple room's size was very adequate for a weekend stay and having a large sink and mirror in the room was great. Luggage storage is in the basement - there are no lockers/locks and you just leave your stuff, but since you need to have the front desk buzz you in both at the front door and the luggage room door, we felt safe leaving our stuff before checkin (free) and after checkout (4 pounds). There's a lift up to reception on the 3rd floor and stairs from there, but since there are only 5 floors, that was very manageable. The toilets and showers are all in private one-room stalls which is great, but the showers were frequently without shower curtains and had no soap (though we were able to get some from the front desk) and the hand dryers in the bathrooms didn't work. No AC in the rooms and the window wouldn't open since it had a reflector sheet on it to keep the sun out - we were okay at night with the fan on but just so you know.

Friendly, helpful staff. Everything was very clean. Showers were hot, and water was unlimited. Self-catering kitchen and good-sized dining space for hanging out. The location was right in the center of things--easy to get everywhere on foot or by Tube. I think this place aspires to be great, and they're on the right track. They have a lot of potential. But there are some issues that need fixing. The window in the room didn't open, which I was told was for "health and safety" reasons--meaning they don't want you to fall out. But it's not healthy to be sharing air with other people while you sleep in a stuffy, hot room. The mattresses are sealed in plastic, so they creak when you move, and they add to the heat. Though it was cool outside, I woke drenched in sweat. I stayed here mostly for the kitchen, so that I could make my own breakfast, but there's no way for guests to prepare their own coffee--no cafetiere, pour-over filter cone, or moka. Coffee was brewed at 7:30, so early risers have to go elsewhere and pay. They have luggage storage, but they charge you for it on checkout day, and at £3/bag for only 3 hours, it isn't cheap. The location is convenient, but there's something ironic about having a budget accommodation located in an area where everything nearby is so pricey.

Exceptional, exceptional staff! amazing time very well-versed in their area. Everything was maintained, cleaned and tidy during all times. Easley has become one of my favorite cities to travel to. I cannot emphasize how much people need to come here specifically to Soho.

The hall bathroom was rather small, so it felt uncomfortable to wash your hands and move around.

I liked that they have a common room to meet people. It’s also in a prime location. I think they need to invest in privacy curtains. That would make the experience a lot better for the guests. The bunks make it feel to exposed and cheep.

Location Mattress needs change. Please provide sime hangers for the guests. Rooms are too small and note recommended for claustrophobic people. Windows are dusty and floors looks sticky and dirty. Shower rooms are okay but the toilet needs to atleast have someone check from time to time to ensure cleanliness. The kitchen is averagely clean but the fabrics cover of the seats at the dining hall and reception needs to be changed as it is already sticky and covered with dirt. The kettle is the most disgusting thing in the kitchen, I almost vomit when I found out that the hot water I used came from those kettles. Change those please! You also need to ensure that the drinking faucet are cleaned all the time.

The staff is AMAZING. Incredibly attentive and kind, not just nice. I hope I return soon so I can see all of these wonderful people again, they made the whole difference in my stay and whatever they're being paid is not enough for everything they do. The cleaning staff is also super nice and helpful.

The beds have no privacy and the hallway lights are always on, which wakes everyone else up in the shared room when the door opens. There isn’t much personal space for devices, etc. in the bed area. The bathrooms weren’t continuously stocked with supplies and the sink was so tiny, difficult to use for anything other than washing hands.

Location for the price beat anything else I could find in central London. Very walkable. One bed was a real mattress and one wasn’t. You could feel the metal bed frame below the fake mattress.
