We checked in late at night, and the caretaker helped us carry our bags to the room. However, the room was stuffy, dirty, and outdated, so we couldn't bring ourselves to sleep there, we decided to step out and go for a night out instead rather than stay in. We ended up looking for accommodation elsewhere for the rest of our days in London. The bathroom was tidy, but the overall facility is outdated and tired, it really needs renovating, with amenities updated throughout. I wouldn't recommend one to stay. The one real highlight is the location, which is easily accessible to and from the city centre.

I don't think it is possible to like something about this accomodation. !!!!! JUST NO, IT IS NOT WORTH IT, IT IS A SCAM !!!! The first room they gave us was totally different from any of the pictures listed. Inhuman conditions - dirty as hell. I was afraid to touch anything, the bathroom was worse than the most dirty public ones... Smelly rooms, crappy floors, it is listed as "breakfast included" but there is no "self-catering". The kitchen is a bacteria itself, the bananas they left on the table were full of bugs and half rotten. All the kitchen utensiles you are supposed to use to fix your breakfast, are stained and dirty..... maybe this is the way the OWNERS LIVED IN THE MIDDLE EAST. The beds are some old matresses on top of some carton boxes .... like jesus, it is even hard to imagine this in 2025... Neighbourhood is a crap, like some shady part of London, but close to transportation. The bed was very close to a window facing outside (noise) and the window frame was rotten, it had termites falling on the bed ....

It could be cleaner. But the staff was really nice!

First of all, the man who received us was lovely, we did not know he spoke Spanish, so I just started to talk to him in English, and then he noticed our passports and talked to us in Spanish, which was really helpful for my dad since he doesn't know English, he felt more welcomed. The location was amazing, it was close to everything, not more than 15-20 minutes on the tube to get to town, and the walk to the tube was 6 minutes. (Just as a side note, the station that's nearby is not accessible. not the place's fault, just for you to know) The amenities in the kitchen were amazing: fruits, biscuits, cereal, butter, bread, jam, eggs, all you need. There's also a specific time where you can cook or not, but you basically have access to the kitchen anytime if you want a snack or just grab something you saved in the fridge. We got the good luck to have a bigger room than we expected because of availability, so it was amazing. There is also a small terrace where the sunset looks stunning. We also stayed for the beginning of the summer, and we had a fan in the room, so it was a key point. My only two complaints about the place were: Cleanliness: The beds and the room itself were as clean as they could be, but the bathroom needed a deep cleaning for sure, the walls were not clean at all, and the sink was a bit dirty, but in general was good for its price. Luggage: At the moment of the checkout, we needed to leave the suitcases at the reception because our flight was late, so the day before leaving we talked with the staff, the guy told us that we had to pay 5 pound per suitcase but that he was going to tell his co worker that was going to be in charge the next day to just charge us 10 pound for all the suitcases, i do understand that we had way too much luggage but the price was never stated on the web when we reserved it... Then the next day, the staff in charge did want to charge us 5 pounds per suitcase, and I had to discuss with him because his co-worker told us it was just 10 pounds. At the end, we got into an agreement and also, just payment by cash...... But well, that was just at the end of the stay, and the cleanliness was not something that we couldn't stand with, it's just a recommendation and something that could be improved.

The price was affordable for me...only 1 night. No aircondition in the room, only fan.

Location I was bitten by bed bugs. Also breakfast was included but the first time I tried having breakfast 2 days after I arrived I was told I could only have no more than 1 egg at a time and I could not fix my breakfast and take it away. I had to have it on the premises. The oven does not work. They offered to change my room but never did. They were very rude, The room is too small.

The location is great, near the underground tube and near an overground station. A lot of buses also pass by it. There are a lot of pubs and places to have a coffee nearby, there is a supermarket next door as well. The people managing it are very nice and allowed us to check in earlier. Our room was not cleaned properly, especially the bathroom. We found a used soap left in the shower, which means no one washed it from the previous visitors. The shower was so small that you could not turn around it, my back always hit the wall. The tiles in the shower were so worn out that they looked dirty. The sink was really disgusting, no one had cleaned the hole for the excess water. The toilet paper was so thin, you could read a paper through it. The bed was not a bed. It looked like the main part was made of an old sofa and two mattresses were put on top. The cushions of the sofa were put on top of each other in one corner of the room and had to play the role of a chair. The bedding had a hole in it. The room floor was covered with a material like a carpet and between the bed and other furniture you could see rubbish not cleaned.

Excellent price for a clean, tidy room near central London. Well stocked and free to use kitchen. Doors slamming at night, but that did stop.
