Clapham Guest House

Very clean room and bathroom, great comfort and again, very very clean and perfect location for our needs. Checkin very easy and straigh forward, with great comunication. Will stay here again. Only con was being very hot we had to open the window and was quite loud with it being towards the main street. Also bigger fan would’ve helped, but that’s personal preferences and not every summer day is that hot (33 degrees).

Beds comfortable. Very clean. Outside bedroom toilet and shower that required tap code. The code was difficult to see and do in the middle of the night. It was a very, very, very hot room. The window only opened 5cm and we were provided with one small fan. No AC but some in entrance hallway.

Comfortable bed, clean room & ensuite. Easy accessible to Clapham, local shops for food., small fridge in room provided. I felt the pictures online were deceptive, as it looked like you had your own kitchen. However kitchen was shared for whole property. No hob, no table and no chairs in kitchen. Also online description showed a seperate lounge on layout, however three adults were all in the same room.

Everything was lovely. Great location in a quiet but fun neighborhood. Bus stop was steps away and train was a 15 min walk. We LOVED Clapham. When I had key troubles, someone helped me quickly and kindly. I would love to stay here again.

Great space for a family! A little bit too far from the main attractions. Room was very cold. Too many police cars or ambulances passing by at the middle of the night.

Amenities were okay and clean. It is a super noisy room. I barely slept any night and I had to check out earlier than I had booked. The room I was assigned was close to the street and the glass was not sound proof so any noise from constant passing cars was a massive issue. When I raised the issue with management, they told me o contact another guest house.

I like how spacious the bathroom was and the bed was very comfortable and I had good closet space for clothes.

Clean and modern There wasn't a "24 hr Front Desk", "baggage storage" or "currency exchange" as listed on Booking.com. Very disappointing! Wouldn't have stayed there if we had known there was no desk for check in. Would've been screwed if I didn't have access to my email account since we had a late check in.

The location was perfect for us. Our daughter’s new house just steps away. The location is close to lots of restaurants and shops. Bus stop right outside and about 10 minute walk to Northern Line and Overground. We were located on the first floor. There is no air conditioning and our room was extremely stuffy. There was a small fan in the room but it really did not do enough. Seems like the room might need a ceiling fan. It was really noticeable after showering. I would ask for a room with a window!

Everything was very clean and easy to navigate, the locks on the doors all functioned properly, the beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed having the small kitchenette to make tea and coffee in the morning.

Easy and convenient self check-in and check-out, possibility to leave luggage before check-in and after check-out at sister guesthouse within walking distance. Private refrigerator in the room. Shared kitchen space with microwave, iron and cutlery. Qualitative bed and cushions, stable high speed internet and dimmable lights to create the perfect atmosphere. Busstop right in front of the door. The window blinds could be improved as a lot of light still can enter the room. A Nespresso coffee machine or comparable would be a better alternative for the kettle and instant coffee bags. Suggest to install sound patches or something similar in the door frames so they do not close as loud as they do today. Currently not easy to close the doors without making a lot of noise.

Extremely clean and modern and comfortable. Although our bathroom was private it was not adjoined to the bedroom - I am not sure this was written in the description, but it could just be that I did not read it all ?
