We had an amazing stay and were really impressed by how friendly and welcoming the staff were. We were given a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival, and while checking in, we were unexpectedly upgraded to a better room free of charge, along with a complimentary later check-out and a free drink at the bar. It was such a lovely welcome and really made the stay special. The room was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, and there were complimentary snacks, drinks and a capsule coffee machine in the room. Breakfast was also excellent, with a buffet offering a huge variety of options. The location was very convenient for us, with Aldgate East station just around the corner and Liverpool Street station about a 15-minute walk away. Another really useful thing was the free luggage storage, both before check-in and after check-out. Overall, we thought it was excellent value for money and will definitely plan to stay there again.

Good location for where we needed to be. No air conditioning in bar/restaurant, so did not stay . Quite a long way from car park to carry suitcases on a hot day.

The playground around the hotel First of all the 1st night they kept us in a room without A/C and our reservation was with A/C .they even didnt give us any alternative room says its fully booked ofcthe aame room type .they can upgrade but not done .and they even didnt give us any thing as an apology for example free breakfast for a day .they could do better

The location was excellent, near the tube station, the breakfast was good The fridge didn't work the first days but after I mentioned that fact the problem was fixed, the bathroom's door was transparent, it was a problem

The hotel is in a great location and the room was very clean. The breakfast was pretty good too. However the room was quite small, and you hear a lot of the noises from the corridor outside.

This is our second time staying in a Clayton branded hotel, and the high standards are consistent. The walk-in toilet/shower for the room we upgraded to was really impressive and clean. Kudos to the housekeeping team as well.

Room felt very homely not like a typical hotel room, good selection of snacks, popcorn, biscuits, chocolate, lovely walk in shower with separate loo, Rituals shower gel, shampoo & conditioner Breakfast had everything, hot breakfast, chef to cook eggs how you like, fried, poached, pancakes, omlettes...great selection of fruit, inc water melon, grapefruit, granola & mixed berry pots, pastries, porridge, nothing missing at all, very relaxing & calm even though busy & we were down for 9ish.
