The location is perfect, close to the train station, shops, and a supermarket. Having been a loyal guest here for over 10 years, I am saddened by how bad the hotel and service have become. The rooms are old and worn out. Upgrading from a Standard to a Club room only added to the cost and gave us two water bottles—the size and furniture remained identical. During our stay, loud drilling noise from ongoing maintenance upstairs disturbed my family every morning. It took 3 days of complaints to get moved to a higher floor. Housekeeping only made the bed, neglecting the bathroom, trash/tissues, and vacuuming. I spent my trip chasing staff for basic rights and amenities. Sadly, this was my last stay here.

The location is good,a few minutes walk from the tube station. The air conditioning was very good during a few very extremely hot days, the fridge in the room was also great to have.On departing the bag storage was useful and Osman was very helpful carrying our bags. Had requested early check in as we were arriving at 9am which was confirmed depending on availability,on arrival the receptionist was most unhelpful and basically dismissed us and said nothing would be available till at least 1 pm which isn’t early check in.I understand we may have to wait for a room but her whole attitude was that we were annoying her by asking and just go away. The lovely receptionist we met later that evening was the complete opposite and asked why we didn’t use the early check in ? Rooms also need a bit of updating,no socket near beds.
