Location is great. Garden is lovely, food is good The beds are seriously bad. It’s the bumpy cotton mattress that I’ve never seen in any paid accommodation in 25+ years of travel. For all the other positives, this one kills it for me. It’s student accommodation, so don’t expect hotel standard housekeeping facilities. The water drains very slowly in the shower

Beautiful garden, where you can have a redt. Great.atmosphere. -

Breakfast and dinner provided were well prepared and delicious. The location is excellent; it's in between Earl Court and South Kensington stations and is within walking distance to many shops and attractions. The music practice rooms, chapel, garden room, devotion room, and the garden were a pleasant surprise. Filtered water and fresh coffee are available in the common areas all day. The room has plenty of cupboard space and a sink, which is well thought out as bathrooms outside are shared. We stayed in the lower ground level, which has a bit of a musty smell when we first entered the walkways, but it disappeared after we enter our room which has an open window to the garden.

It's just a great England kind of place to stay. The building is older and historical. It's part of a Christian dormitory and the staff are very nice. It included breakfast and dinner. There is a beautiful garden area in the back. We really loved it. There are steps to the front and into the garden but it's really not even worth mentioning.

The location was fabulous. It was quiet, clean, safe, and less than a 10 minute walk to the nearest tube station (Earl's Court). The room was very spacious as was the ensuite bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a laundry room on-site that was very easy to use once you downloaded an app. We would definitely consider staying here again. There was NOTHING to complain about. It was good value for the money. This is primarily student housing, so while the meals (breakfast and dinner) were plentiful, the choices were pretty ordinary. The croissants in the morning were fabulous and everything else was okay. It was a little difficult to figure out the key situation for the outside doors so it might be nice to provide detailed instructions but we figured it out. A couple of extra hooks to hang up towels would be nice.

The location was very good, 5-7 minutes walk to some tube lines. The breakfast and the dinner was comfortable to have included. The staff was kind. I did not really have, as a youth hostel it was very ok.

I thought that I was going to a normal hotel but it surprised me that it was actually a student hostel. It was though a very pleasant surprise and it was very calm and nice surprise. Very good place for families. The staff very friendly.

    Friendliness

Single pane glass on windows. Even on the top floor we could hear all street traffic and noise clearly.

A great place to stay, convenient location and warm atmosphere especially if travelling alone.

  • Engine customer Aug 2025

Location is perfect-it's between two Tube stations so you can take your pick based on where you're going.

The staff was nice, breakfast nice if you come early enough and the location is nice and convenient. We came on a summer day and there was no A/C. The room was stuffy and humid and smelled like mold. The corrider smelled like food 24/7.

Within walking distance of Earl's court subway station which has access to both the district line and the piccadilly line, which for visiting London is more than enough to connect you to any touristy spot of any kind, including the airport or the National Rail stations. The neighborhood is picturesque and the building itself shows that it is a students accommodation, which is not necessarily a bad thing, despite traveling only with other adults i can see this being a very comfortable option for families with children as it offers recreational rooms with a Ping-Pong table as well as kids playgrounds in the surprisingly spacious garden. The reception staff was very friendly and quickly explained me the process of entering the premises with a key fob for the automatic doors to ensure the guests safety in the after-hours when there's no one at the reception. The rooms are "roomy" in size, no AC options but good air circulation, as the purpose of my trip was tourism i barely spent time in the premises but i couldn't find anything negative to say, as i understand this is not a commercial chain hotel which is very clearly shown on the accommodation description (make sure to read the specifics ahead of time), which means it may not be available year-round for obvious reasons. The breakfast and dinner options are filling, delicious and varied with vegetarian options for those looking for that specifically. Adding to the location and the food included, there's simply no better option in this area of London for the price. Everyone in the staff was very friendly and i wouldn't mind staying here again.

Well located. Very nice common area with great garden. Big airy room. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great value for the money The shared bathrooms on our floor were cleaned but the trash can were never emptied for the 4 days with stayed there. It was overflowing with feminine hygiene products and it was kind of gross. Also, the beds were ok but not very confortable.

The staff was welcoming and kind. We felt very at home, rather than guests. If we needed anything, staff couldn’t have been more obliging. Food was excellent. Location was perfect. Beds are comfy and bedding was fresh and new. Our room was cozy and the garden was a great place to unwind. The space is bright and felt very safe.
